Continuing their run of club singles to close out 2024, Peder Mannerfelt and Pär Grindvik once again channel their avant-pop production (Fever Ray, Björk) into a classy demonstration of dancefloor maximalism. 'Keep Moving' rides on a rough and ready rhythm section of crooked drums and brooding bass, teasing out a hype energy through snatches of vocals that peak at the mid-section. With hooks in all the right places and driven by dramatic tension, it's a fine demonstration of Aasthma's keen instinct for what makes a banger.

Berlin label SEVEN announce their fourth EP release courtesy of rising local talent Posture and Sparkly Pony. Sweat Repetition, featuring remixes from 131bpm and Eoin DJ, arrives 28th March on vinyl and all platforms via SEVEN. Launched in 2024 by Berlin artist CRYME, queer and FLINTA-leaning label SEVEN play at the tantalising intersection of house and techno with their unique brand of uplifting, genre-defying sounds that speak to the heart of the global underground. Much more than a label, SEVEN is a movement - fostering community, highlighting underrepresented voices and redrawing industry standards with transparency and integrity. In just a year the label is already being recognised as a vital force on the electronic music scene with a keen eye for next gen talent, and with Sweat Repetition from Posture and Sparkly Pony as their fourth release it’s clear to see why.

Australian born DJ, producer and queer/ trans collective ‘Cuties’ co-founder, Toby Perks (she/her) aka Posture is the dance-floor diva of your dreams. Since making Berlin her base in 2022, she’s been a familiar face leading the dance at all of the city’s best underground parties and clubs from Tresor to Amina at Else. Renowned for soul-enriching sets of all flavours, from sun-soaked euphoria to sultry late night gems, whether she is DJing or producing her talent for igniting the mood is unmatched.

For Sweat Repetition, Posture teams up with fellow Berlin party-starter, DJ and master of captivating grooves, Sparkly Pony. Co-founder of queer collective SWEAT since 2014 and a DJ since teenagehood, Sparkly Pony made his way to Berlin via the Swedish and Danish club scenes where he quickly made his mark. On their new collaborative EP, over five tracks (including blistering edits from Ireland’s Eoin DJ and dance-floor troublemaker 131bpm) the duo dive into laid-back, soothing soundscapes combined with energetic drum workouts that will have sweat dripping on repeat.

Closing us out is Irish producer Eoin DJ with their delightful ‘Stretch & Repeat’ edit. Brimming with buoyant rave energy, dynamic drumwork and quirky sonic details, Eoin delivers the goods with this belter of a remix that transforms the mellower sensibilities of the original into a peak-time pumper.

This glorious EP is a must-listen showcase of two one-to-watch rising talents in Posture and Sparkly Pony, Sweat Repetition. Expertly balancing soft and hard across five excellent tracks, the goods are delivered time and again. Another immaculate release from SEVEN whose star continues to ascend as they bring the creme of Berlin’s queer club sonics to the global stage.

Olympe4000’s new EP, MUTANTE, is built for the club but carries a deeper resonance. Released on Jen Cardini’s DISCHI, it moves between raw techno, sharp percussion, and shifting synth textures, reflecting the fluid nature of identity, attraction, and self-perception. At the core of the project is Anaco, Olympe’s Franco-Spanish friend, whose voice messages became the foundation for the tracks. Their words touch on bisexuality, the tension between visibility and erasure, and the contradictions of self-definition in a world that imposes rigid categories. These ideas are embedded in the music, not just in the lyrics, but in the structure, contrast, and energy of each track.

"Nos Sexualizan" is heavier and more high-energy, driven by pounding rhythms and deep basslines. Anaco speaks about the way society sexualizes certain identities, reducing them to stereotypes shaped by the male gaze. The raw spoken reflections clash with the intensity of the production, turning personal experience into something direct and unfiltered.
"Con La Mujer" is more introspective but still built for the dancefloor. It layers evolving synths and arpeggios over a relentless groove, while Anaco reflects on belonging and legitimacy. The track builds tension before reaching a release that mirrors the push and pull of self-perception. "Showtime" is fast-paced and playful, exploring identity as both expression and performance. Shuffling hi-hats, rolling bass, and sharp drops create a sense of momentum, shifting between control and abandon. It captures the thrill of stepping into the spotlight, embracing transformation, and rejecting fixed definitions.

MUTANTE is both a statement and an experience, personal, physical, and always in motion.

Night Out is the third collaborative EP by Alfred Czital and Ayū, dedicated to high-energy dance music and inspired by their nightlife experiences. The record features solo tracks, joint contributions, and two digital bonus remixes.
The A-side opens with Alfred Czital’s transcendental solo track, “Universal Language,” a composition infused with punchy beats and sonic whispers. It’s followed by Ayū’s “Magnetic,” a fast-paced, progressive bubbler featuring ultra-sensual vocals.
The B-side delivers a soundscape of grooves and scattering melodies. It begins with “Physical,” a collaboration between Alfred Czital and Ayū inspired by early 2000s trance anthems, uplifting sounds, and hazy vocals. “Love Letter from Montevideo” closes the record with a memoir inspired by Uruguayan rolling electronica.

The bonus side begins with Alfred Czital’s “Rita’s fav,” dedicated to the Harmony crew member, followed by “Find You,” a trance kicker by Ayū - that is both sweet and alluring - tested on Ankali’s dancefloor. Wrapping up the EP with “Feeling so fly,” a remix born in a not-so-serious studio session. A perfect quirky touch for early morning hours or a fun closing time paying tribute to Prague’s sunrise closing sets.
