More pure badness from the one and only Mosca – as he returns with two Cedar Wood State mixes that have taken nearly eight months of editing, tweaking and road-testing. The Vector Mix has already been aired in the likes of Leon Vynehall's Essential Mix. Now comes the Volt Mix – a squelchy, loopy, choppy number which spins Battery Brain through a thousand outboard filters, delays and effects. In Mosca's own words, it embodies "melting Miami, Rio, a field just outside the M25 and The Bronx into modern-day London."

The NYC-via-Kansas producer Brian Leeds (Huerco S), known for his distinctly murky productions, returns to Anthony Naples' Proibito imprint with a brilliant full-length release of dense meditative ambiance. A marked move away from Leeds' house music ventures, For Those of You Who Have Never (And Also Those That Have) is an intensely cerebral experience, sparking raw emotions throughout.

Our pick of the bunch is "Promises of Fertility". Seven blissful minutes of softly smudged chords lay the foundation for an innocent melody that beams you into a world of mystical sounds and fantasy.
