I thank whatever gods may be for my unconquerable soul! Whatever gods means that driving force, that small whisper that says keep going in spite of life’s darkness and absurdity. For those who constantly wrestle with darkness, but whose eyes are also open enough to see the light. As it is impossible to know what light is without the experience of darkness. When we’re done with idolatry of self what’s next? Who are we outside of a self identified with acquisition, possession, or people? This record seeks to strike that balance of the in between. Somewhere in the middle between cynicism and being delusional is melancholy, but also the beginning of what it means to be an adult in consciousness.

We are really excited to share our new 'Earth'-inspired single... This one's a bit different, and harks back to the sound of some of our songs from our Seasons album. The lyrics lean into the abstract, reflecting on the healing properties of rest and darkness - for ourselves and the environment around us. Alongside this, we aimed to capture the essence of night with the instrumentation - all of the 'night' sounds you hear in the track were actually recorded on our 'home' island of Ma Wan, here in Hong Kong.

Through sound I leave you a piece of me.

Music has always been deeply personal — in it, I have found identity, and it has become an extension of language for me. Each song is like a sonic diary, reminding me where I was,  physically and emotionally. I’ve learned a lot about myself through melodies, and the thought of someone else, perhaps miles away, having a similar experience while listening to these sounds, gives me a sense of greater purpose.

My name is Adam. I’m a musician, producer, visual designer, and human being in Austin, Texas. Inspired by several genres and mediums, I write ambient music with a focus on guitar-based looping, immersive soundscapes, and melodic storytelling.
