The following interview was recorded in April 1966 by 2UE during Dylan's legendary first World Tour.  On this tour Dylan premiered his new amplified rock sound, alienating many of his folk fans.
The tour featured an initial set of older acoustic numbers followed by his newer, harder edged material with the addition of  Rick Danko (bass, vocals);Garth Hudson (organ); Richard Manuel (piano, vocals) and Robbie Robertson (guitar, vocals) who later went onto huge success in their own right as 'The Band'
Australia was the first non USA stop on this revolutionary world tour
