Liberation Riddim is the third release on Hundred Years and is a production from Reggae Roast heavyweight Adam Prescott, who is joined on the release by Cornel Campbell, Donovan Kingjay, Galak Spiritual & Papa B. The track bridges the gap between classic roots, dub from the echo chamber and driving modern steppas. The first vocal cut from the original Gorgon himself, Mr. Cornel Campbell blends Adam's tough original with Cornel's flawlessly sweet vocals to create 'Dem A Bawl', in which the driving deep bass line is perfectly accentuated by the flawless melodies and delays to provide us with an unmistakable and instantly recognisable take on modern roots at it's finest. Next cut see's Donovan Kingjay take to the booth for 'Statistic', an assured statement on the current social climate, providing a message of hope and unification, delivered powerfully in Donovan's unmistakable style. The final vocal version comes from Galak Spiritual entitled ‘Ancestors’, and is a tribute to his mixed blood, spreading a powerful message of love and acceptance. Rounding off the record is a powerful horns cut from Papa B, a saxophonist on his first instrumental outing since the anthemic 'Easton' by onlyjoe.

Plastics in the oceans is a problem that is killing numerous amounts of marine life, it is eaten by many animals and also fed to their young. After watching midway 'a message from the gyre' (link below @ vimeo) myself and the doc were inspired to pass this message on to our friends in the best way we could 'Music'.

MYTH: There is a giant island of solid garbage floating in the Pacific.
FACT: There are millions of small and microscopic pieces of plastic, about .4 pieces per cubic meter, floating over a roughly 5000 square km area of the Pacific. This amount has increased significantly over the past 40 years.
We would also like to mention the words 'pacific garbage patch and twice the size of texas' are mostley regarded as a myth, it has only been used in the track for artistic purposes as this is what is quoted in many videos. most of the plastic in the ocean is small. There is so much information that could be written here, but i feel the links below explain the facts better,  there are so many sites that are dedicated to fighting plastic pollution, that l can only name but a few, the following ones inspired us to make this track, please visit them all and give your support in whatever way you can:

Dub Conductor are extremely happy to present our latest musical creation, featuring two fantastic vocalists and a superb saxophonist, all blended into 4 carefully crafted mixes of rootikal dubwise.
This track was born from a meeting between Dub Conductor and El Fata at a big session in Lyon, France, in June 2019. After the session, we decided we had to work with him and set about creating a rhythm and starting the collaboration to create something with this superbly smooth and individual voice. A short while later we decided that we would also love to feature Ponchita Peligros, another instantly identifiable, talented artist who had not yet featured on our label and whose vocal skills had really been catching our attention in recent years. Finally, the rhythm has been given some massive horns sounds from the jazz man Tommy Harris, a skilled saxophonist who we met during a chance encounter in a smokey Jazz club in Manchester. We are extremely proud of the production quality and the positive, energetic vibes of the track and are sure you'll like it too!
