Près de 20 ans passés aux cotés de ses camarades d’ High Tone, d’innombrables concerts - de Pékin à Vancouver - et quelques 20 disques au compteur lui en ont fait voir de toutes les couleurs !
En 2009 il lance le projet DUB INVADERS dédié à la culture SOUND SYSTEM et commence à produire des titres sous le nom «Natural High Dubs».
Dès lors, il effectue de nombreuses dates avec le collectif Dub Invaders et se produit aux cotés d’O.B.F, Blackboard Jungle, Dub Addict, Dawa Hi fi...
Son univers musical fortement inspiré par la scène UK dub, se caractérise par un son brut et minimal et c’est en live act sur un bon vieux sound system que sa musique prend tout son sens. Au gré des soirées, il triture et remix ses propres compositions au commande d’une console 10 pistes.

Ten Years And Bye ft. Longfingah, Kinetical, Lengualerta & Tribuman (FREE DOWNLOAD)

Having already released a handful of singles on NICE UP! it seemed like high time for Nottingham's Origin One (aka Kevin Thomson) to step up with his debut album. Written and produced over the space of around 2 years in the artists own Deeper Than Roots studio, the album represents a wider spectrum of roots and reggae influenced music, taking the foundations of this music and applying a modern style and sound to it, traversing dancehall, bashment, grime, jungle and dubstep along the way.

Guest vocalists come thick and fast, kicking off with Russian envoy Tenor Youthman who starts proceedings with the provoking "World Peace", then its onto Doncaster's very own Parly B who serves up his classic "Mi Bredrin" - already a staple in DJ's sets as a single. Next, Bristolian rudeboy Gardna and Congo Natty songstress Nanci Correia bless the bouncing vibes of "Nice & Easy" whilst Manchesters Peppery comes correct on the dancehall rousing "Where You Come From". Hip hop charged ganja anthem "High Grade" single makes an appearance featuring festival fire starter K.O.G. then South London's grime don Irah gets deep on the massive "My Yout", leading into up-and-coming Puerto Rican/Italian dancehall star XL Mad on the tropical leaning "My Gyal A Wine Up". Veteran dancehall MC Spyda (probably known best for his track "Tarantula" with DnB heavyweights Pendulum) steps up the pace on the jungle soaked "Tribute", with another anthemic hook from K.O.G, then its Scottish soundsystem legend Soom T's turn to do her thing on the bumping "Jah Jah". Things get deep and dubwise on the instrumental "Dread and Buried", showing the producers range and depth of production styles, then its over to Hempolics and The Drop frontman Dandelion to wrap things up with his enigmatic vocals on the closer "Trying".

Ambitious without over stretching, fresh and modern whilst showing respect to its elders and showing deepness whilst retaining a popular sensibility, "Deeply Rooted" should take seed in dances, clubs, festival and home hifi's the world over.

JAH ARMY \ JAH DUB (sample)

Release number 6 on the Inspirational Sound label sees veteran Jamaican singer Sandeeno and superb UK saxophonist Digistep combine on top of a heavyweight dub reggae track recorded, mixed and produced by Bradford’s Inspirational Sound.

Sandeeno hails from the parish of Manchester in Jamaica and has had a string of hits produced by the likes of Disciples, Gussie P and many more. Here he delivers conscious lyrics faultlessly serving up a true slice of reggae roots and culture.

Digistep is a saxophonist and producer from Bristol, UK. He makes up one half of roots-dub production outfit Dubkasm, alongside DJ Stryda. Inspired by old-school masters like Tommy Mc Cook and Dean Fraser, his love of deep roots music, mixed with his Brazilian roots has influenced his work with many artists and producers. Here he provides blazing horns true to his influences.

Inspirational Sound are a sound system and producer from Bradford UK. Recording and mixing their own dubplates since 1999 they have performed across Europe. In recent years they have released their music on their own Inspirational Sound label featuring artists including Murray Man, El Fata, Bongo Chilli, Bunnington Judah, Hornsman Coyote, Stephanie and more.

This release has been played exclusively for many months by Iration Steppas Sound System.
