Lightshow and Videomapping Music Portfolio

I had the honor to make this piece of music for the unveiling ceremony of Marián Karel's sculpture that was placed just in front of the entrance to the main building of my university. It was collaboration with Jakub Hybler and Josef Šafařík. Glass sheet separating two parts of a stone. We took a laser emitter and did a little laser show on it. Quite a few people arrived, despite the inclement weather which filled the air with droplets of rain and mist, an ideal medium for casting the laser beams. The whole thing was very geometric, reminding me of old vector display video games so I went for a reference of the 1980s and 8bit music. I also ventured a little into jazzy piano impressionism because I wanted to see how it would feel.

Apple Museum Prague approached Josef Safarik, Ondra Rakusan, and myself to create a videomapping for the ceremonial museum opening in December 2015. My task was to write and produce the soundtrackfor it.

High-tech Fruit Repository (Apple Museum Prague Grand Opening)

An abridged version of the soundtrack for Creative Colours, an audio-visual piece by Josef Safařík and myself, premiered tonight via Linky, a LED-powered anisotropic display mounted on the façade of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague.

I used an alpha version of a new VST from Deadland Digital, called Plexigan. You can hear it at 0'41" (the chiptune lead) and at 1'36" and 2'35" (the ethereal electric organ sound).

BIOGRAPHY
Adam is a composer, producer, programmer, and researcher of music and interactive audio. He creates music for video games, multimedia installations and performances, as well as popular and symphonic music. His work involves acoustic instruments, synthesizers, sample banks, lots of programming, vintage computers, and their emulators.

Adam composed a part of the award-winning original soundtrack of a best selling role playing game Kingdom Come: Deliverance in a collaboration with Jan Valta (@janvalta). The game has been developed by Warhorse Studios (@warhorse_studios).

He is a founding member of the Wasteland Wailers (@wasteland_wailers), an international swing and country band. The band is associated with the Overmare Studios, working on the music for fan-based game Ashes of Equestria.

He also collaborated Anneli Heed, Jakub Hybler, Jan Trojan, the Prague Spring Festival, and the Czech Technical University in Prague. He currently conducts a game audio course at Charles University.
