I had respect for early Beyer records but within the first minute of listening to this mix I lost it. Right on when he said festival numbers were up and production was up. Somewhere in that process of "production" and the Music Industry taking over even the hallowed territory of Detroit the very thing that made the music what it was has clearly been lost. This movement has done nothing more than strip mining of the small-scale techno culture of Detroit. It's a history lesson in the "Law of Raspberry Jam."
