Adam Coney is a composer/guitarist with a keen sense of production aesthetic and progressive sensibility who draws on improvisation, post rock and jazz vernacular. Stylistically his work has been noted for its idiosyncratic take on pastoral and angular reflections. In addition to headlining performances at acclaimed venues such as Cafe OTO (London U.K) and international touring, Coney has supported artists such as Bill Orcutt & Daniel Lanois in live performance. Coney is co-director of Trestle Records, a London based label specialising in instrumental music and home of the 'One Day Band' sessions. Coney has collaborated with a number of Trestle affiliated artists including Bex Burch, Milo Fitzpatrick, Ruth Goller, Charles Hayward, Anders Holst, Duncan Marquiss and Jon Thorne. Coney also performs and releases free improvised music as a trio with Beanie Bhebhe and Nick Siddall, operating as 'Noon'. 

Coney has released a number of albums under his own name including 'The Fall Of The Flamingo Gardens' (2014) receiving wide critical acclaim across international press and premiering on BBC Radio 3. 'Pavilion' (2019) built on similar form featuring notable collaboration with producer/guitarist Leo Abrahams.  'Ashwin & Above' (2023) is his latest release on the Trestle label.
