Recorded in a single day during the very beginning of pandemic isolation, the goal of this recording, if there even was one, was to align with the meditative state I found in during that period. It is not something I sought to record explicitly, but rather some music I felt like making at the time. 

It also featured a recording experiment: the drone and electronic sound were sent through a speaker placed behind the piano, and recorded live with the piano into two microphones. This configuration resulted in “In Fm” (parts 1 and 2), with the rest of the tracks quickly following. “In A Flat” and “The Plant” are variations on the same composition: they derive from the same MIDI data but towards different outcomes. “Bottles” (all parts) came from sending randomly arpeggiated midi data into a synth and the Ableton delay plugin. While some melodic fragments were already in mind, many gestures were improvised; primary reactions to the sound pouring into the sound board and out into the air.
