For the 25th edition of the CHP Mix series we have a very special treat for you all. I had the honor and privilege to record a one-for-one b2b set with Legendary bass technician, Scratch-D!

Our goal for the session was to juxtapose old school classics with new school electronics to create a synergistic sound that takes you on an eclectic journey through more than 40 years of legendary music. It was a huge honor to record with such a huge inspiration, mentor, and friend and I am mega hyped about the creative body of sound we made to share with you.

Scratch D of Dynamix II (Miami) is a bass heavy Dj and producer of the highest order. Unconstrained by trends, his numerous game-changing contributions to the dance music world span over two decades longer than any EDM jock of the moment. This is an artist seasoned with dropping low end 808, and enamored to see it move a crowd either solo as Scratch-D or in his iconic Electro Bass act Dynamix II (Give The Dj A Break). There is a distinctive quality to an electro bass jam from Scratch-D. DJ N-Hance is a Miami-based DJ born with a passion for playing and sharing music. His talents and recognition evolved throughout the years when he began to release underground mix tapes in 1990. His tapes were recognized by some of South Florida's then well-known promoters, allowing him to establish residencies throughout Miami's best-known nightclubs.

Since 1995, DJ N-Hance has been a prominent figure in the Florida Electro and Breaks scene. An active artist of the record label 808 Life, he has put out several of his own original tracks and collaborated with other well-known Florida Electro and Breaks DJs.

DJ N-Hance's unique sound and dedication to his craft have solidified his reputation as a key player in the Miami music scene.
