Following up his 2017 debut ‘Groover’ EP on Saved, we’re welcoming Spanish DJ and producer, Hector Couto back onto the label this month with his brand new ‘Trico Trico’ EP. Hector Couto is one of the most consistent DJs in the game, with his selective output on labels ViVA, ABODE, Snatch!, Sola and elrow, nothing short of dance floor dynamite. Couto’s sound has not stopped evolving and growing during his career, maintaining a personal and unmistakable groove of sleek, well-crafted dancefloor-orientated tracks that are full of energy and irresistible basslines. Kicking things off is title track ‘Trico Trico’ which is the perfect percussive groove, featuring rolling drums, hip swinging claps and energetic synth drops to get the dancefloor moving. ‘Mellow Burn’ wraps up the EP; composed of intricate percussion and sporadic synth stabs with hypnotic vocals and mesmerising hats.
