Warm and smokey felted sounds with a hint of mystery will accompy you through the walk of spiritual invoking lyrics ! 

The essence of smoke is mystical and evocative and is a fundamental human symbol that crosses all boundaries. Since man’s first fascination with fire, which remains at the heart of civilisation, smoke has been seen as the embodiment of this powerful element. We can imagine early man sitting around life-giving fire, watching the smoke rise and appearing to reach to heaven when man could not. Rising into the atmosphere, into mysterious realms that man could not comprehend.

Since the dawn of time we’ve been fascinated by smoke. It seems to symbolise our constant striving to reach the heavens, or the beings that might dwell there. Since man first turned his eyes skywards, smoke has been used as a conduit for prayers, seen as the souls of the dead rising into heaven, for energy shifting and even communication.


A third Native American use would be ‘smudging’. Smudging is done to drive away sickness and bad energy and to help centre the people taking part in the ceremony. Traditionally a bowl is filled with tobacco (ah-say-ma), sweet grass, sage, and cedar. The smudge pot is fanned with a feather all around the room so that the smoke reaches every corner and then every person in the room. Each person bathes in the smoke, starting with the heart area first, next the head area, and then the arms, then downward toward the legs.


There is a propensity for using smoke, as you can see, for protection against malign energies. 
Not surprising really, because after all, fire is pure energy, and so the smoke would be seen as a concentration of that benevolent force. And it’s easy to see how its swirling vapour would be seen as something which could envelop and destroy any evil that might be near.

Music and rhythm can be life-changing for children and young adults who have experienced trauma and are struggling with anxiety. 

Music for Generations (Nesiller için Müzik) is a compilation album series focusing on bringing hope, healing, and resilience to children and young adults who have been impacted by the recent earthquakes of February 2023. 

As Kanto Records, we have partnered with two NGOs — Maya Foundation and Tüvana Education Foundation for Children (TOÇEV) — to make a meaningful impact on those affected by the earthquakes. 

Proceeds from the album sales on Bushido will be donated to support ongoing art and music therapy efforts in the earthquake-affected area. Proceeds from the album's Bandcamp and Spotify sales will be donated to establish permanent music libraries delivering art and music therapy workshops.

We are honored to feature incredible artists worldwide who generously donated their songs' publication rights to support this cause. We welcome all volunteers to support our mission.

Lena und Mike verlieren nicht viele Worte in ihren Songs. Aber die wenigen Worte, die sie nutzen, sind oft messerscharf. Ihr „Lieb mich nicht“ ist liebevoller als so mancher Liebesschwur. So bedeutet auch „Alles geht den Bach runter“ nicht das Ende der Welt, sondern fühlt sich an wie eine frische Vitaminkur nach einer langen Nacht - alles fließt. Berlin ist „the Place to be“ sagt man, Lena und Mike tragen Berlin in ihren Zellen, in ihren Adern. Nur scheinbar depressiv, so wie ihre Stadt, wirken Sätze wie „Was du suchst, kannst du nicht entdecken“. Der geschmeidige Flow ihrer Tracks flüstert davon, dass sie auch analoge Instrumente spielen und lieben. Holz macht den schönsten Klang. Das verrät der Specht in ihrem Hinterhof. Die langen Berliner Winter verblassen bei ihrem Track „Sommer“ und offenbaren ihre Liebe zum Süden. Der Süden ist nicht unten auf der Karte, er ist da wo du ein Fleck auf dem Hemd haben darfst.
