Djembé - the first single of the electro-acoustic live act NORLYZ. Crisp horn rhythms superimposed over a pulsating web of polyrhythmic drum and synthesizer patterns. After the opening of alert suspense the scene starts to rotate: a lift-off towards distant shores.

The electro-acoustic live band unites the warmth and fragility of acoustic instruments with the precision and power of the electronics: captivating grooves rich in fine sonic details, inspired by techno, world music and jazz. Guiding the audience NORLYZ embarks on a journey through parallel worlds, mystical lands and cinematic soundscapes. While following an intricate dramaturgy, the project leaves space for creative improvisation between the 4 musicians aiming to elevate each other and the overall experience.

Barcelona based DJ & producer Eren Erdol drops a new two track release on Audiofly’s Flying Circus label, bringing some delectable house sounds on the ‘El Pueblo’ single. Originally from Istanbul, Erdol’s musical journey started young, learning to play the piano
and drums from a tender age and having a deep connection with music of many genres. His ventures in the electronic dance realm have afforded well received releases for labels such as Epic, NDYD Records as well as his own Petra Recordings imprint which has also hosted releases and remixes from the likes of Joeski, John Tejada, Swayzak and Heiko Laux. The drifting melodic tones that open ‘El Pueblo’ set the tone here, as a chugging tempo is established, and deft musical inflections glide over the percussive rhythm, bringing with it a sedate and enriching atmosphere. Accompanying track ‘Hay Sabados’ sits in a similar tempo, as Erdol teases out more reflective harmonies and transcendental melodies over a minimal yet punchy beat.

William Sheller, né William Desbœuf le 9 juillet 1946 à Paris (nom modifié plus tard en William Hand), est un auteur-compositeur-interprète français.

Considéré comme l'un des plus grands auteurs, compositeurs et interprètes français depuis les années 1970, William Sheller bénéficie d'une formation approfondie en musique classique. Tout en composant de nombreuses œuvres classiques, c'est dans le domaine de la variété qu'il percera. L'influence de sa formation classique se manifeste par un style musical sophistiqué, alliant parfois des éléments de la musique classique avec de la musique pop.

William Sheller se fait connaître du grand public en 1975 avec le titre Rock 'n' Dollars. La même année sort son premier album de chansons, William Sheller, presque entièrement écrit et composé par lui. L'artiste dénombre un total de vingt-huit albums studios, albums live et autres formats, vendus à près de deux millions d'exemplaires rien qu'en France. Papfay is a young French producer of 26 years. At a very young age he became a fan of electronic music.
Influenced by names like Joachim Pastor, Paul Kalkbrenner and many others, at the age of 20 he started his musical journey into music production. Self-taught, Papfay finally entered the world of music by signing with Trndmsk, Cafe de Anatolia, Lump record, Kosa music and now Ohxala Records.
In Sefer, Papfay takes us on a journey fusing his lunar melodies and organic touches with powerful baselines and stompy beats. Mixing downtempo and deep house, Sefer will transport you into his galactic universe.

Like the branching paths of a complex garden, these tracks emerged from a desire to explore less traveled routes. They represent a bold experiment in the generative powers of nature, the allure of imperfection, human voices, and emotional ambiguity.

The tracks go beyond the familiar terrain of downtempo, retaining some classic traits but with greater UK experimentation, heavier percussion, and an urgency seldom explored in the genre.
