We're starting another week with a beautiful mix by Australian DJ OLIIV. Based in Sydney, OLIIV is a DJ best known for her versatile sweeps of melodic and deep grooves. A vessel for the avante-garde, her unique sound is always grounded in authenticity.

A lover of electronic music from a young age, it wasn’t until 2019 that she started the journey as an artist. In a short time, OLIIV’s musical passions have earnt her a residency with Return To Rio, whilst also hosting club nights as label co-founder of The Fan Club Collective. She has curated podcasts that have been featured on international platforms and radio stations, as well as running her own podcast series Fan Club Friends. She is also the Music Director and co-coordinator for Neomenia - a Sydney based boutique festival.

Regularly supporting some of the biggest names in the industry and with some international gigs on the horizon, there is an exciting future ahead for OLIIV.

In preparation for this 333 mix I spent time making a tracklist varying in genre’s with some major inspirations across my time as a DJ. Songs that stuck with me and really moved me as an artist have been included throughout, intermingled with a progressive journey featuring some originals aswell. It was great being given the opportunity to be able to push outside the boundaries of a standard Australian set time and explore what I would do when I play for over three hours somewhere. I approached it in this manner and recorded it in one take with one recording. I have poured myself into this mix and presented it unaltered as a raw expression of my abilities . 
This set starts at 140 bpm and ends at 110 so it is sure to take you on a journey no matter the space you are listening to it in.

Arteforma introduces us to a traditional digestif of the Dolomites, made from the sprouts and local pine cones , the Cirmolo!

The Italian producer and DJ is tailoring a sound that suits perfectly deep and introspective journeys between clear and dark nuances, intertwined melodies and emotive storytellings.

Arteforma is dynamic and resilient in his approach that lets him experiment with various new sounds, modulations, and production sets. His sense of the contemporary electronic music beautifully put together an ambient experience that takes the audience on a resonating adventure altogether.

His records have been released on many labels, always recognisable through its own imprint. Arteforma has been in the industry since several years under old aliases and this new musical path started in 2020.

Biography

Originally from New York adamROSS began his love for electronic music by frequenting famed NYC clubs like Limelight, The Tunnel, and Twilo. The love for the club scene and electronic music eventually led to a Dj career. No stranger to crowds he has had the opportunity to share a stage with some of the most well-known artists in the underground electronic music community. 
(Tale of Us, Thugfucker, Paul Oakenfold, Dj Dan, Mark Farina, The Scumfrog, Quivver (aka John Graham), KRAMER) 

adamROSS can be found preforming at traditional venues, such as BETA in Denver or Public Works in S.F., underground warehouse events and at any of the great festivals happening globally. His visit to Burning Man years ago would prove to be the most influential event on both his personal life and artist career. 

As an artist Burning Man influenced the sound he plays, known in some circles  as Playa Tech. This genre can be best described by combining elements of Deep House, Tech House, and Melodic Techno with deep undertones. 

The overall love for electronic music is the driving force in adamROSS' life and shows each time he preforms. Dancing, Smiling and the Positive Resonance of the music are all part of the adamROSS experience.
