Wow! So many new riffs, where have you been in my life!

Unlike any set I've played before, it was SUCH an honor to open up the night for Lightning Society's first ever Ephemeral Ball with this one hour sonic journey at NYC's iconic Sony Hall in Manhattan! Touching on the theme of ephemerality and what this word and concept means to me, this set brings in a wide mix of musical styles and genres featuring tracks from some of my favorite artists of all time <3 

You'll also hear a sprinkling of some of my vocals throughout the set as well as the addition of my first produced track (still unreleased!) at the very end!

This piece was crafted as a sonic tribute to the introspective atmospheres of Depeche Mode and the melodic architecture of Tuxedomoon. Built around a foundation of dark synthesizers and immersive textures, the track unfolds like an emotional narrative suspended between analog nostalgia and digital precision.
Hi-hats are treated with ping pong delay and subtle modulated reverb, creating a sense of spatial movement and rhythmic fluidity that enhances the tension during the breakdown and drop. Melodic lines evolve slowly, weaving through minor scales and open harmonies, echoing the avant-garde spirit of early electronic pioneers.
The result is a track designed not just to be heard, but to be felt a dialogue between shadow and light, structure and spontaneity.

Biography

Originally from New York adamROSS began his love for electronic music by frequenting famed NYC clubs like Limelight, The Tunnel, and Twilo. The love for the club scene and electronic music eventually led to a Dj career. No stranger to crowds he has had the opportunity to share a stage with some of the most well-known artists in the underground electronic music community. 
(Tale of Us, Thugfucker, Paul Oakenfold, Dj Dan, Mark Farina, The Scumfrog, Quivver (aka John Graham), KRAMER) 

adamROSS can be found preforming at traditional venues, such as BETA in Denver or Public Works in S.F., underground warehouse events and at any of the great festivals happening globally. His visit to Burning Man years ago would prove to be the most influential event on both his personal life and artist career. 

As an artist Burning Man influenced the sound he plays, known in some circles  as Playa Tech. This genre can be best described by combining elements of Deep House, Tech House, and Melodic Techno with deep undertones. 

The overall love for electronic music is the driving force in adamROSS' life and shows each time he preforms. Dancing, Smiling and the Positive Resonance of the music are all part of the adamROSS experience.
