I wrote this song based on a picture of my younger brother and I.  I actually used the picture to make a lot of the sound in the song through a VST in FL Studio that translates pictures into sound.  I loved the feeling I got from the product of this specific picture so much that instead of just staring at the ceiling for an unpredictable amount of time, i decided to loop it, add some drums, Effects, and some extra little synthesis here and there to come up with a full piece.

Brothers

This piece is a little bit different... It isn't really my style of writing by any means but I have decided to post it anyway because it was fun to make.  For the production of this piece i actually made a song, then sampled and sliced said fore mentioned song and made it into another totally different piece.  

Hush Hush

This Piece was written in less then a day and was inspired by the death of a friend.  One day I came home to a friend at my kitchen table sitting in front of his computer in tears, after a bit of discussion, I found out that a friend of his, a dad as well as a friendly face in the dwindling Central Valley music scene had been found hanging in his bathroom that morning.  After hearing of the tragedy and spending a good chunk of my day watching friend mope and make phone calls I opened my music program and it just came to life.  It felt almost as a perfect embodiment of atmosphere of the time being and even now evokes many emotions when I listen to it.

This song was recently dug out of my old music files containing unfinished songs, after listening to it for a few hours I decided to tweak it a bit and post it.  Enjoy!

This song was inspired by the cartoons of the 90's and actually sampled from one of my favorites "Hey Arnold!".  The shows musical wizard goes by the name of Jim Lang and the song in which I sampled is called Groove Remote.
