Info: We’ve been meaning to put out some music by our friend Harald ever since we started this wee operation five years ago. Imagine our joy now that we’re ready to release not one, but two masterful records signed Mr. Björk! Fritids EP sees Harald bringing his top game to Studio Barnhus: starry-eyed pop melodies, dusty machine riddims and the Maestro’s sweet trembling voice, all synched up (sort of) and ready to tell us stories of imperfect love, blossoming Nacka gardens and bicycle rides on wet gravel. Also on this record: Suzanne Kraft jammin’ harmonic on the remix, Malin Gabriella Nordin straight up slaying it with the artwork. This 12′’ EP is released synchronously with the vinyl exclusive 7′’ single Strings Of Harald (BARN 037).

There's not really much else to say about this one. The names dropped in the title alone lets your ears know what they're in store for.

Detroit's Burden brothers, more commonly known as Octave One, have been making classic techno from their roots since 1990 – and, much to our pleasure, have continued to produce, DJ and play sensational live sets as though no time has passed. 25 years on, their music still fuels the dancefloors of 2nd gen. techno lovers, as well as being picked up and reworked by modern dance music's most valuable players –  of which Paul Woolford is most certainly one.

When asked about his "Lose Myself" rework, Paul shared that Octave One and their 430 West label "have been inspirations to me for so many years. We met through mutual friends and immediately connected, following various gigs together globally. It was an honour to be invited to work on something for the Detroit label. My intention was to bring out the soulful edge of Octave One's sound and place it within the framework of a track that would work towards the end of the night." Kris- & Konflikthantering II/III (KLN008) features 4 tracks including songs from Harald‘s live repertoire as well as a remix of his Studio Barnhus debut Sabor Latino now interpreted by the queen of Pampa, Areal and Kompakt, Ada.

After two recent releases on Studio Barnhus and Harald Björk is back in his own playground Kranglan Broadcast with a second album release, Kris- & Konflikthantering. Kris- & Konflikthantering is Swedish for ‚crises and conflict management,‘ as well as a course at university guiding you how to manage scenarios involving crises and strategies in handling conflicts. This album was put together while Harald was taking this course.

The soundscape is a warm fuzzy travel from krauty basslines, vocal fragments and mantras through echoes and reverberating tunnels with shimmering arpeggios, field recordings and programmed patterns in ancient Japanese Roland techniques. All recorded on the Studer B67 master tape recorder, the heart of the Kranglan Broadcast studio.

The album is being released as a three episode series with exclusive remixes by Ada and Petter Nordkvist on the first two 12”s and two 14-minute plus tracks on the last one!“
