i've genuinely forgotten about this one but this was the first song I ever wrote. wrote it in december 2023 while i was in a depressive state and in a really weird emotionally and mentally abusive relationship where I was not being valued. recorded this october 31st last year after coming across omar's beats. seeing the date was so shocking to see as I thought hit and run was my first ever recorded song. I used to hate this demo bc lyrically it's so generic but as I look back at it now and have recorded a lot of songs, i don't feel that way anymore. it's not great but not bad. when I listen to the lyrics (I know the full intent and reason as to the meaning and stuff), I hear a young guy that was fighting everyday to survive and never thought he'd officially make music. I'm proud that i've made this far. anyways I'm rambling over a generic dark pop song but ya. thanks for making my dreams a noticed reality. and thanks to myself for never truly giving up.
