“Jandía” is the breath-taking second single taken from Spanish AFFKT’s upcoming new “The Big Picture” studio album. The LP is set to be released later this summer via Mobilee. For this new single, AFFKT built a striking and dreamlike polyhydric shapes tech-disco cut.   

Captivating music that pays tribute to beautiful Jandía, a peninsula in the south-western part of the island of Fuerteventura (Canary Islands). A nature reserve with gigantic sandy beaches that AFFKT now wants us to visualize through his music. 

“Jandía is a wonderful place I was able to discover after a necessary and unforgettable trip this last summer. The beauty of that unique place deeply inspired me… I believe it perfectly invites everyone to fly, to travelling without moving. Let’s become birds and enjoy the views from up there!” AFFKT attests.  

AFFKT definitively drops a lush and melodic track that is perfectly identified with the core of the entire forthcoming LP. Boston’s rising star Bad Eye delivers four heavy remixes to their recent two-track Aphotic EP on Understated @ Nite. About the remixers: Rhyot is an American-Canadian electronic musician, DJ, and record label head based in Canada. Rhyot's musical stylings are often described as cinematic and dystopian, drawing influence from the techno, electro, industrial, and progressive genres of electronica. ASHE has had several major releases, most notably his EPs 'Melancholia' and 'Clairvoyance' on deadmau5's infamous label mau5trap. ASHE has been featured in Forbes and Dancing Astro, and has curated Apple Music's 'Pure Focus' and Spotifys 'Chill Tracks’ playlists. Barbosa finds himself immersed in the darker side of electronic music, using textured percussive layers, ambient melodies, surrounded by the beating of heavy kickdrums. Barbosa has received features and praise from many collectives such as: Space Yacht, 6am Group, HATE, and EDM Identity. LUNR is known for his releases on Mau5trap, Astralwerks, Emercive Recordings, Understated Recordings, and Graydient Collective. LUNR offers music from dark techno to down tempo to heavy bass cinematic tunes and specially crafts music using his hardware synth collection. Like the many phases of the moon, LUNR has many phases to his music.

"CMD is the ecletic duo formed by Andrea and Ivano, DJ and Producers from Rome, Italy. After having contributed to last year's ADE compilation, we finally find them at their solo debut with a truly unique two-tracker aptly-titled 'Asmodeus'. Fully inspired by one of the mythological 'Prince of Demons', the title track is a menacing techno pounder, enriched by dire atmospheres and voices, powerfully driven by its big low end. Softer and more of a roller, B-side 'Cahetel' provides some release from the tension with its infectious groove.

Starting the activities of Prototype Music in 2021, we received for the second time Mateus Castro, DJ and producer from Minas Gerais who had already released with us in August, delivering the single "Mercúrio" in our VA Patterns I. We realized then that he deserved more space to demonstrate his full potential and we were extremely happy with the material received.  Showcasing all his studio weapons, the artist composed a five-track EP that has received positive feedback from Erly Tepshi, Blancah and Binaryh.
