Adriatique have revealed the very first release to come out on their brand new label, Siamese. The three-track EP from the duo, entitled ‘Patterns of Eternity’, will be released on the 14th October, with presales already live.

The title track, running at 11 minutes long, is a hypnotic journey driven by layers of synth lines, with a powerful low end. Meanwhile, ‘Womb’ on the B-side is a darker, more uncompromising affair. Built for the dancefloor, the track has already been a success on the club circuit.

Final track ‘Quadrivia’ channels the minimal influences that the duo cite as an inspiration, yet features the classic characteristics of Adriatique’s production style; a detail-orientated focus on the layering and dropping away of percussion and a bassline built for the best club sound systems.

This debut EP on the new label is just the start of a new chapter for Adriatique; the Siamese project is a shared dream for them both. Although it is first and foremost a music label, the duo envision Siamese opening up to a broad variety of arts, providing a home for boundary-pushing creatives of various genres.

This time, Johannes Brecht has taken hold of his own original and offered his individual take on the piece. His classical training and a sharp ear for sound shine brightly all the way through.

The 'Voix Grave' release is out on November 18 and will offer the original as well as individual reinterpretations from both Johannes Brecht and Christian Prommer.

Taking the reigns of a fabric mix is no small ordeal, and if anyone knows it, it's the Italian duo behind fabric's upcoming 97 mix, Tale Of Us. Within the mix is an exclusive listen to a brand new track from Mind Against and Aether called ‘Covenant’... besides right here as a premiere on Mixmag. As you can expect, it’s a dark, ricocheting track that’ll serve as a memorable marker in the upcoming fabric mix. Look out for it on February 16.

Incepted just three years after the beginning of the Kompakt venture in 2001, it's safe to say the Speicher series holds a very special place in both the heart of the label and its audience's. Taking the helm for the 102nd instalment in the catalogue (and the first Speicher to feature 3 tracks) we find an eclectic squad of producers triangulating from all corners of the globe but united by their boundless science of the groove. Longtime friends turned studio companions, @enzoelia (of Balearic Gabba Soundsystem fame) and @ musumeci join forces for the first time on the unfaltering late night hip-swayer 'Gothic Safari', kicking things off with a relentless deep dancefloor epic à la Âme. The vibe then swerves into further savannah-friendly audio territories with unheard French newcomer @lamarinemusique who, like his glorious predecessor Oxia (but is it fate?) operates out of the mountain-ringed city of Grenoble, here popping up with an off-axis downtempo electro hybrid of unknown provenance. Looping the loop with maximal tension and mind-piercing depth, rising Bolivian duo @animalprintduo serve up the aptly named Badalamenti-esque roller 'The Last Night Of Laura Palmer' - a track that won’t fail at recalling the ‘Twin Peaks’ aficionados the bizarro ambiences of Lynch's acclaimed TV show all the while following a rather straightforward, frontally club-ready sense of style, resulting in a fine balance between down-to-earth pragmatism and unbridled reverie.

HAMBURG HEAVYWEIGHTS, ADANA TWINS ANNOUNCE THE LAUNCH OF THEIR NEW LABEL, TAU. WITH A FREE ORIGINAL ADANA TWINS TRACK TO CELEBRATE THE START OF A NEW ERA FOR THE PAIR. 

As longstanding purveyors of their unique brand of house and techno, prime Hamburg exports, Adana Twins announce the launch of their own label, TAU. Having risen through the ranks since the pairs inception back in 2006, Adana Twins have seen soaring success. Working up heat on the DJ circuit before hitting the big time in 2012, with hits ‘Everyday’ and ‘Strange’, they have since worked with the most notable brands, labels and bodies in the industry. Last year, the duo achieved an all-time high, signing to notorious Berlin institution-come-label, Watergate. 2018 has already proven to be a fruitful one with the release of their ‘Jupiter’ EP on Watergate. Despite this, it seems the well-known unwavering tenacity of Adana Twins is undying, establishing themselves as true connoisseurs of their craft, heading up their very own imprint, TAU.

To celebrate their new venture, Adana Twins have produced an original track to be released as a free download via the TAU Soundcloud. New track, ‘Frozen’, features Brazilian experimental-dance music duo, Digitaria. Much alike the Adana Twins, Digitaria have spent their own fair amount of time crafting their sound, playing as part of a four-piece band since 2004. They now create music without rules, pushing the boundaries of what dance music can be. This teaming up of restless musical minds, clearly manifests in the track itself. The signature elements of the Adana Twins sound are presented in powerful kicks and pulsing hi-hats. Eerie vocals serenade amid swirling melodic bells and roaring sirens, building to a spin-tingling crescendo that sees all elements break loose in a pulsating frenzy. Whilst also receiving major support from Techno Heavyweights Tale Of Us throughout the last few months. 
 
The collaboration with Digitaria on ‘Frozen’ paves the way for the overall ethos of new label, TAU; seeking to bring up-and-coming talent to the fore. Having been instrumental in securing their home city of Hamburg’s position on the electronic music landscape, Adana Twins stay very humble in their hopes for TAU; seeking to create a platform for new talent alongside other music they believe in. In true Adana Twins style, they already have two releases in the pipeline, TAU001 and TAU002.

Inaugural release, TAU001, comes from a rising German duo by the name of Innellea is set to drop 31st August. Delivering a unique style of tribal infused techno, Innellea are believed to be one of the up-and-coming talents in the scene at present. TAU002, comes from yet another exciting new talent, BOg. Hailing from Romania, currently based in Paris, BOg first broke onto the scene after being signed to John Digweed’s ‘Bedrock Records’. Over the past 12-years, he has become affiliated with the likes of Solomun and Dixon, releasing on both respective artists own imprints Diynamic and Innervisions; speaking volumes for what can be expected from BOg’s debut EP on TAU.
