Back with their second official collaboration since 2020, Kasablanca and Lane 8 team up on latest hit track, 'Remission', on Anjunabeats.

Launching into the dance music scene in 2020 with their first releases, Kasablanca quickly made a name for themselves later that July with the release of their hit collaboration with Lane 8, 'Run'. With that original track now streamed over 40M times worldwide since its release, hitting #1 on SiriusXM BPM, and heard countless times live at major festival stages around the world, Kasablanca and Lane 8 look to follow up on their success together with their latest collaborative release, 'Remission'.

After a massive 2022 and 2023 that saw Kasablanca touring around the world and playing some of the most well known venues like Coachella, Printworks, Red Rocks, and The Gorge, their tour in late 2023 was cut short after revealing that frontman "Mickey" was diagnosed with cancer. Following a short hiatus from touring and music in the start of 2024, 'Remission' marks the official return of Kasablanca after the debut of the track during their LIVE set at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, Chile and Peru.

Denver-based DJ and producer Daniel Goldstein, aka Lane 8, has become the leading light in today's melodic house scene with multiple shows at iconic venues such as Red Rocks and Brooklyn Mirage under his belt. Lane 8 fans might have noticed the new record being road-tested in his recent shows, most notably when it was debuted at CRSSD Festival in San Diego in early March.

Fans can look forward to hearing the latest hit release live at both Kasablanca and Lane 8 shows in the future.

Darren Tate announces new album ‘Metamorphosis’ with progressive single ‘Flashing Lights’, a collaboration with songwriter and vocalist Sxcha.

Darren Tate has been a pivotal artist in dance music for over twenty years. In 2022, the UK Top 10 charting producer joined forces with Above & Beyond’s Jono Grant to form JODA. Released on Anjunabeats, their self-titled debut album has since seen over 10 million combined streams.

Under the aliases DT8 Project, Angelic with Judge Jules, Jurgen Vries, Orion and Citizen Caned, Darren has amassed twelve Top 40 UK singles across his accomplished career. He is also the owner of Mondo Records UK and a successful composer; in 2022, he scored the soundtrack for the IMAX feature film ‘The Last Glaciers’ with Above & Beyond.

Darren got off to a flying start this year by joining forces with trance titan Solarstone and established vocalist Julie Scott on ‘A Long Way From Home’, a single that earned support from Nicole Moudaber, ANNA, Joris Voorn, Hernán Cattáneo, Carl Craig, Nora En Pure and more. He followed that up with ‘Adrift’, which saw spins from the likes of Ben Malone, Ferry Corsten, Don Diablo, Ruben De Ronde, and The Thrillseekers.

‘Flashing Lights’ is the latest single from Darren Tate’s new solo album on Anjunabeats, ‘Metamorphosis’, out 17th May. Driven by a melodic groove and enchanting vocals, the track is accompanied by a slew of social media activations and videos showcasing Darren’s new live performance.

The new single sees Darren collaborate with eclectic songwriter and vocalist Sxcha, who has toplined tracks across a broad spectrum of genres including house, techno, drum & bass, trap, indie and beyond.

Watergate welcome back two of Hamburg’s finest and most recent international exports: Adana Twins. Last seen on their latest Various Artists compilation, the duo returns with three absolutely stunning tracks of low slung, infectious cuts blurring the lines between House and Techno with an undeniable brush stroke of character the two are quickly becoming synonymous for.

‘Flower Of Cane’ kicks things off in an almost sinister fashion with massive low end bursts and a fever inducing, single note that never stops rising culminating in a climactic crescendo of dance floor euphoria while ‘Ortus’ takes a much more ‘up-beat’ approach with dreamy arpeggios and shimmering atmospherics laid over a pulsing bassline resulting in a gorgeous number ideal for a number of memorable moments.

Wrapping up the originals is the guaranteed summer anthem: 'Relentless fest. Jeppe Kjellberg’ where sultry vocals and lush aural artifacts launch sensations to uncharted new heights. Coming together out of their own individual musical worlds, Rodriguez Jr. and Liset Alea met 15 years ago creating music for Laurent Garnier’s legendary imprint, F Communications. Since then, each have gone on to have blinding careers of their own, developing individual personas and sounds, becoming leaders in their fields.

A stunning partner, singer-songwriter, Liset Alea has been releasing albums since her teens. Perfectly poised for stardom since, her solo career saw her co-founding drum and bass, trip-hop band, Etro Anime in New York; co-writing and providing vocals on all songs. From here the only way was up for Alea, leaving the band to pursue her own truly solo ventures, her debut LP, No Sleep, released on EMI, was popular across multiple European territories. As an already well-seasoned artist, she later fronted the French new-wave group, Nouvelle Vague for seven years, touring the world, providing exciting and enchanting performances. With such a notable career to date that spans numerous musical styles from Drum and Bass to Downtempo New Wave, it is clear to see how Alea and Rodriguez Jr. are so perfectly matched.  
 
Known to many, as one of the best live electronic music acts the industry has to offer, Rodriguez Jr. is a multi-faceted musician as opposed to a DJ or producer. Well respected for his unique brand of melodic techno, Jr. takes his influences from genre’s far and wide feeding into his eclecticism. From classical artists such as Stockhausen to electronic groups such as Kraftwerk and LFO, his performances offer a new take on how electronic music can function in a club environment. Upon signing with Mobilee Records, Rodriguez has remained one of the imprints most treasured artists, proving time after time that live electronic music and performance, is as spell binding as any digitized track or record being spun. 

No strangers to collaboration, Jr. and Alea recently worked together on Rodriguez’s album ‘Baobab’; it was here that their creative flame was ignited. Inspired by one another’s musical tastes, the synergy between these two talents was clear from the start, making the prospect of future work together a certainty. Now picking back up on unfinished business, Jr. and Alea announce their new project RJLA, kicking things off with summer track ‘Radio’, releasing on Rodriguez’s native home, Mobilee Records.

Drawing on previous collaborations together, new and original single ‘Radio’ is a reflection of both artists musical appetites. Alongside ‘Radio’ Jr. and Alea include ‘Radian’, initially released by Rodriguez on his ‘Baobab’ album, Alea and him re-recorded the track during their cliff-top live performance for Cercle; Alea’s vocals elevating Rodriguez’s highly complex and technical melodies to new places. An extremely exciting and interesting project for Mobilee, the partnership between Rodriguez Jr. and Liset Alea presents electronic music for ears on and off the dancefloor.
