Add-us do their thing - that thing that made the duo from Stuttgart a sure-fire success: Melodic Techno of the highest order. The trancy synthesisers of 'Escape' provide exactly what this title stands for, namely an instant escape from the grey gravity of everyday life. The twilight atmosphere of this tune clearly aims at the most active hours of a party. So does 'Hurricane', yet another aptly named track. Or, rather: An aptly named sound vortex. The rotating energy of this tune draws us towards the climax of a party once again. However, here the vibe imitates the intangible, yet absolutely compelling energy of the element air.

The Merin series continues its journey into the deeper corners of electronic music with Vol. 11, bringing together four forward-thinking artists across an eclectic spectrum of sound.

Navas (fresh from his EP on sister label BAU_HAUS), sets an emotive, electronica tone with 'Feel It'; Rami, recently seen at Renaissance’ event at Vagalume in Tulum, hooks-up with Loudr for the sophisticated, Afro-tinged 'Black Moon’; Add-us take us deeper with 'Blue Bird', a great example as to why the progressive genre is back on the tips of tongues and, last but by no means least, Ayan closes the collection with 'In My Defiance', a cool fusion of indie vibes and experimental edge.
