Towards the end of 2014, Scotty.A provided a trademark sound that shone into "Tomorrow", leaving an incandescent three-track EP that lit up the year. Now revisiting the EP in impressive fashion, a Romanian legend, and rising Dutch star, take up the mantle with brand new remixes.

A man of legion talents and a variety of production monikers across a range of genres, Romanian born Addex is as prolific as he is skilled. A master craftsman favouring "atmospheric deep house with summer sounds, dubby chords and heavy pads", Addex has transcended musical boundaries with a plethora of releases on a host of gold standard labels. His work signed to the likes of LoveZone, Ready Mix and Etoka, Addex has remixed such luminaries as Andrew Chiable, Terry Lee Brown Jr. and Evren Ulusoy en route.

A regular on the celebrated Apollo imprint with over thirty production credits including 2012's successful "Killing Krazy" EP, Addex's work for Proton Music includes a trio of remixes including Colourblock, Juan Deminicis and a standout rework of Embliss' "Stronghold" in 2014. Now returning for a fourth time, the Addex remix of "Waiting For Tomorrow" pays homage to Scotty.A's original with intelligent use of its rhythmic chord foundations while extending their reach with beautifully crafted additional production and counterpoint melody. Reverb soaked vocal cuts add another layer of intrigue as a strong house beat anchors Addex's work with precision while percussive flow is in full evidence.

Frank Maris is a name with a bright future in front of him. The Dutch producer from the Amsterdam capital has hit the headlines with a string of impressive works since a 2013 debut for Groove Life Records. Since then, Maris has become a regular feature on the Axon imprint. The "Nieumarkt/Capybara Obsession" EP provided a glimpse of what was to come as "Neon Waterfall" shone as a 2014 highlight with subsequent remixes from Anthony Yarranton and Yuriy From Russia. 

Given high-level backing from both Yarranton and Scotty.A, Maris' work for Particles includes the original "Eyes Filled With Joy" as part of the "Fall Particles 2014" compilation, while a recent remix of Deepfunk in March 2015 has further extended his presence. Making his debut on Proton Music, Frank Maris has taken the soft lilting melodic groove of "Chapter's End" and provided a stripped back interpretation that is fuelled by a soft rolling rhythm that provides the working space for original elements to be heard in all their glory. Additional production material is then subtly applied, making its presence heard in third and fourth movements post-breakdown with emotive persuasion.

A pair of new remixes from Addex and Frank Maris has ensured that the future of "Tomorrow" is bright indeed for Scotty.A.
