PREMIERE: Pierre Berge-Cia - Breathwork [DR007]

::: The following text was found scribbled on a half-burned napkin from the well-known ramen chain "Nyx-E", that was recovered inside Void+1’s archive-complex. The napkin was located in the private office of a clearance archivist. Said employee has an MP status from seven days prior to this inspection :::

"I lit another cigarette I wouldn’t finish. Ashtray’s a ruin. They always say you get used to the smoke... They lie...
The recording came in clandestine; no metadata, no chain of custody. Just the title: "Burning Chrome".
Techno, if you still want to call it that, but stripped of official markers. Four pieces, each like a shard of something much older, deeper... like the audio equivalent of looking into a mirror that doesn't reflect your image back.
I’ve heard genre-hybrids before. But this… this was a ritual. Encoded liturgy from some techno pantheon we don't even have a name for yet... Machinery talking in tongues.
It was a collaboration, yes, but not merely two artists working together... You wouldn’t trace it back to two minds, or even one. These tracks don't behave like something composed. They arrived like a breach.... less like music and more like a backdoor into something you were not supposed to know about. Scalameriya and Cam Lasky didn’t "produce" these tracks; they jacked into some shared hallucination and released it into the system to be used by those who still remember what it means to move with intent.
By the end, I wasn’t sure if I was listening to music or being rewritten by it. But one thing i was sure of... Void+1 did not commission this for a product, but as protocol. Something to carry in the bloodstream of the culture like a dormant sequence, waiting for the right environmental conditions to arise for it to be awakened. I will hav..."

OMEN Recordings presents the debut release from Georgian producer BOYD SCHIDT - a compelling and emotionally charged three-track EP, featuring powerful remixes by label heads AXKAN and DUELLIST.

The EP opens with the title track, 'Spiritual Numbness,' where Boyd turns inward to capture the mood of late-night afterhours. Hypnotic rhythms merge with melancholic undertones, grounded by deep basslines and drifting, immersive atmospheres. It's techno built for moments when time fades and the lights stay low.

'Dance of the Dragons' follows with an energetic yet uplifting vibe, blending soaring synths with a subtle progressive edge. The result is a modern techno ritual-weighty enough for the dancefloor, yet full of luminous, transcendent moments.

On 'Zeillos.' featuring Tasime, Boyd explores more spectral territory. A minimalist structure underpins ghostly vocal textures that slither and swell like smoke in the dark. The track stands out for its genre-defying feel and emotional depth.

AXKAN delivers a remix of 'Dance of the Dragons' with his signature industrial power-layering tension, kinetic energy, and sharp pulses that echo his work on the Embedded series. The result is intense and explosive.

DUELLIST offers a raw rework of 'Spiritual Numbness,' stripping it down and rebuilding it with mechanical precision. The remix is leaner, harsher, and infused with visceral force.

This release journeys through elevation, introspection, and brutalism-unified by refined sound design and diverse emotional landscapes.

Common Poetry is a duo from Bogotá and founding members of the event series Rubber Mind and the new imprint Rubber Mind Recordings.
Common Poetry explores the poetics of the primitive, the failure of humanity, sexuality, magic rituals, psychedelic ceremonies, submission and power. In 2019 they performed in Europe and Asia, including a live act at Saüle, Berghain in Berlin. This year they released their first vinyl,  a V/A  compilation, 'Ecstasy & Transmutations',
Their sessions are characterized by combining heavy electronics with noise in transit between, techno, experimental, ritual and industrial/ EBM.
