Psydell burgeons back to the surface with the release of the "Tekkulah EP"; an off-kilter symposium of generative synthesis and slap-stick percussion. Fluctuating through multiple tempos and time signatures, the EP is full of wild synthetic dialogue and ephemeral atmospheres. Each track spins like a dreidel on a skewed pitch, espousing the familiar rhythmic tropes of glitchhop and its psybient cousins. In December of 2018 I bought an old $8 digital camera from a pawn shop down the street from my house. I didn’t really know what I was going to use it for at the time but I decided to take it with me everywhere I went. I began documenting the parts of my life I saw as important or meaningful. I filmed almost everyday for the entire year. The last song "I Won't Leave" tells the story of the feelings and footage I've captured in 2019.
