I'm incredibly happy with this song. Regret is an original Dustbelief Phase 1 song I made because I thought Dustbelief was awesome. I typically only make remixes, but lately, I've been wanting to write some music to see how my compositional skills have changed. I'll tell you what, they have improved massively. 

I've actually been sitting on posting this track for quite a while, almost a month!  I couldn't tell you why, as I've been more motivated than ever to release this song! Nevertheless, it's now here, so everything went without a hitch. And hey, if you enjoyed the song why not like and follow? It really helps me out. Thanks for listening!

[Dustbelief Original] - REGRET

So, it's been a while, my last post was seven months ago, I have been making music, but I still am having a thumbnail problem. If all goes well, I may be able to post more consistently, and finally get the v2 redditfell up.

I decided to scrap this for the sake of creating something more original. Don't worry, I'm not deleting this post nor the audio. I'm simply creating a better version of this song with more originality while still keeping that sense of familiarity or Undertale-ish-ness.

Looking to see the description? Here ya go. This is my first ever upload on soundcloud. I always wanted to upload a Dusttale megalo of my own, but I decided to start with something a little tame so here is the result! My own take on a snowdin encounter theme for Murder!Sans. I don't always get to see actual works of it except a few so why not right?

Of course, I don't expect mine to be a good one. After all, this track was actually, unintentionally based off of some known tracks (what I mean by 'unintentionally' is that upon finishing the track, me and my friends noticed how similar it sounded similar to a few songs so I decided to consider it inspired/based from them).

 Anyways I'm happy how this came out, this might get a rework soon as I was a bit short on time with this but of course we'll have to see. See you guys soon!

Story
The Flame and the Wave
In the summer of 1813, when invading troops set fire to San Sebastián, the city became a hell of wood and smoke. The narrow streets burned like blazing veins, and the echo of cannons mingled with the cries of those fleeing toward the bay.
Among them stood an anonymous young man, a carpenter from the Old Town. He was neither a soldier nor a nobleman, but he knew every alleyway as if it were the grain of the wood he carved. When the arsonists advanced, the young man gathered neighbors and sailors, and with buckets of water, damp blankets, and sheer determination, they tried to stop the flames that devoured the houses.

They couldn't save much. The city fell; the flames reduced almost everything to ashes, and the invaders left behind a landscape of ruins. But the young man did not give up. Amid the ashes, he picked up a piece of charred wood and kept it as a symbol: "From this, something new will be born."

The Restoration
When the invaders left and the smoke cleared, the young man became one of the leaders of the reconstruction. With other artisans, he set up makeshift workshops. Amidst the sand and salt spray, they began to carve beams, raise walls, and breathe life back into the streets.
The city was reborn little by little. The new houses stood stronger, the squares filled with voices, and the bells rang out once more. San Sebastián did not forget the fire, but learned to see it as a rebirth.

The anonymous figure, now elderly, used to stroll through the Old Town and show the children that piece of burnt wood. He would tell them:

“The fire tried to erase us, but we are the waves: we always return, stronger, more resolute in our convictions.”

For 2 years, since dustbelief came out and that horrible DSB track made itself felt, I hoped that a better track could be made than the previous one, and after 2 long years my dream came true.
I really thank @BenyiC03 for helping me to do this OST, it really means a lot for me. it was really fun to do it, especially when it comes to style.
