The story behind my remix:
When I first heard the original lyrics to "Twenty3", which is about a woman who is looking for love and ends up building a machine that tells her the words "I love you until the end of time", I was inspired to tell the story a little differently (less happily):

The woman is in love with a real person who tells her "I love you until the end of time," but it's obviously not a heart-filling relationship. She would probably be better off ending it. But in the search for love, sometimes just the spark of hope is enough to keep you "trapped" in a situation....

The Amazing Maze-TWENTY3 (Alfonx toxic 90s RMX) [EURODANCE] (2023)

“SchPCTR” is an acronym of „Schönberg“ and „spectrality“. It is based on one of my favorite pieces by Arnold Schönberg, the "Begleitmusik für eine Lichtspielszene" from 1929. It was a music for a film that never existed, thus an imaginary media piece. In the last third of the piece, the harmonium plays a series of sustained chords. I stretched these chords extremely and permuted them using the twelve-tone scale of the piece. In the course of the piece, the higher spectral components of the sounds increase continuously, thus becoming increasingly noisy at the end. The twelve-tone series was also the basis for the melodic elements that developed from the preceding figurations. Finally, the whole construct was once again "painted over" improvisationally.
