We've all heard about slow/fast at this point, but what about slow/slow?

For the last FACT mix of March, two artists who've made more moves than most in jungle of late - Londoner Fracture and Manchester staple Chimpo - slow things down. Way, way down. In Fracture's words, "this is a slow motion mix. The idea came from wanting to fit a load of music we had got together into a mix but having to slow some down to make it work". So there's music from all across the musical spectrum - from Björk, FKA Twigs and Boards of Canada to Mumdance, Novelist and Wiley; hell, there's even an airing for 'Midas Touch' - but very little of it sounds as you know it.

A comment on our medicated generation? An online mix that finally taps into that "dull, empty feeling" we're all left with when we stare at a screen all day? Nah, it's probably just because a ton of shit sounds cooler when its slowed down. Make sure to check Chimpo and Fracture's recent Metalheadz single, Chimpo's Monkey Teef mixtape and Fracture's label Astrophonica.

No tracklist, because that would completely spoil the fun.

Superheroes Anonymous Vol. 1

Our exclusive mix series continues with Lukrø, a peruvian producer and Dj based in Mexico City and co-founder of Matraca [2013] label. He has released 4 EPs in Mexico with TenToesTurbo, POAT Records, Portal Records and Brutalism2020 labels as well as several tracks on international labels such as WILE OUT, Forbidden Trax, District160, The Big Fresh Collective, 76666 , MakinMovs, among others.

He has also showcased mixes at well known radio stations around the world such as Dublab (LA), Stranded FM (NL), Rinse France, Reprezent Radio, Reform Radio, Foundation.fm (UK), Kiosk Radio (BEL) to name a few. His music has been reviewed several times in specialized music magazines and platforms such as Sound and Colors, Remezcla, Noisey, Couvre x Chefs, etc . At the beginning of 2020 he finished his first Tour of Europe playing in more than 8 cities around the continent, and also previously he has toured in a lot of cities in the United States and Mexico. He recently presented Matraca "Descarga" EP with the collaboration of El Pseudo & Yelram Selectah from Mexico and is about to release many new collaborations with international artists.
