Description: All synthetic sounds including the percussion are from the Behringer Kobol Expander. I sprinkled in some bell sounds from a set of Yamaha Bells that I picked up at a resale shop for cheap.

This is the third and final remix that completes my "Something Wonderful" single; some elements of the original have been reworked whilst others have been stripped away giving the track a simpler form and a bass driven progressive focus. I hope you will enjoy it!

This song is about trying to spend more time on the things and with the people that make you (and them) thrive. Its about the struggles of getting out of habits of inaction, wasting time on the stuff that doesnt matter, instead of spending time engaging in more life enhancing moments. These habits and compulsions to pay attention to the worthless are difficult to shift. They can form deep cut thin lines in our minds that are hard to notice and even more difficult to escape from. The song culminates in an instrumental outro which echoes the positive feeling of breaking free into the 'flow' state and finding yourself thriving on life...kinda the way I felt when I was playing it. I hope you enjoy it.

Just me messing around with the Nords. I tend to layer monophonic lines over each other and play around with interplay between them. Here's a good example.

Everything except the drums if from the Nord.

I remembered I first made this sometimes in early 2000, and decided to give it another go at the end of last year. 

I made this song after I heard a performance from an instrumental band, with violin as the lead melody. I was extremely impressed by their performance that I decided to make something with violin as the lead sound. I guess this song is a kind of "either you hate it or you love it", the feel is a bit heavy. I can't really remember what I experienced back then to come up with this song, but I feel the song has a lot to tell. Or it's probably just me :) The title doesn't really mean anything in regards to the song, but it just seems right. 

I hope you can enjoy/relate to the song and come up with your own interpretation.

Undying

A Journey to Distant Objects will be one of the tracks off my latest Distant Objects album.

Unlike the two current pieces, https://soundcloud.com/synkrotron/gn-z11 and https://soundcloud.com/synkrotron/macs1149-jd1, which are soundscapes, Journey is a more upbeat Berlin School type track with lots of sequencer stuff going on.

One more track for Distant Objects and, once finished, it will be available for purchase, at a very modest price, on Bandcamp.
