Marking one year since the birth of Addition by Subtraction, we are delighted to bring you the third vinyl only release of many. Having sold out in less than 2 months, ABS002 established the cementation of the true ABS sound - deep and swingy dance-floor bombs for those with eclectic taste. 

ABS003 enlists the expertise of six artists from around the world who understand what it means to produce a sound that rocks dance floors and a sound that takes years of practise to blend and perfect. 

Akimbo young-guns @sucasadj open the release with a smooth-sailing UK-influenced tune, following stunning releases on @signatunerecords and Jordan Dessar’s newly imprinted @equalpeoplerecords. Having kicked off their own label, @beatniksldn, in 2018, these lads have a fresh take on the true UK sound that simultaneously encompasses the deeper side of minimal and house alike. 

Completing the A-side, a very special remix from non-other than @thewillersbrothers. Whilst the real-life Berlin-based brothers come from a musical background stemming from Hip Hop and Drum & Bass, a natural progression emerged as their love for house music kicked off their careers in 2011. Following suit, the boys managed to break into the London-club scene which then resulted in a string of releases on labels such as Beste Freunde, @ewaxberlin, @we_r_house, and @pivrecords. 

Flip the record over to experience some fresh faces and to discover the Bulgarian producer who crafted an acidic concoction destined to be heard by the late-night clubber. Whilst @konov previously specialised in other areas of house and techno, he seamlessly transitioned and reinvigorated his sound to generate a wave length of energetic frequencies. 

To close the release off, we’ve invited Italian DJ and Producer, @dj-akyra to deliver a raw and swingy housey cut to crunch needles and sound waves across the planet. The confluence of Akyra’s love and a passion for music erected his abilities at the ripe old age of 10, where he learned to play the guitar and piano after his grandfather. Having had a strong musical upbringing, such abilities gave him the opportunity to release on labels such as WE_R House, @downhill-music and @blindvisionrecords

ABS003 has been road tested by artists around the world and of course the ABS team in Sydney Australia.
