Money to make

Daddy Sun is an independent artist whose time doing music (particularly Hip-Hop) can be traced back to the late eighties-early nineties. Growing up in East New York Brooklyn during turbulent times (the advent of the Crack epidemic, rise of racial hostility, and the rise of senseless crime in the inner cities), music became a guide and somewhat of a haven for him due to all of the madness going on around him at the time. 

As time went by he began to build a name for himself, battling other local rappers, and performing at local block parties hosted by local DJ's of that time during the summer. Eventually he made his way (with the guidance and help of an older cousin) to amateur night at the Apollo during the early nineties. After winning at the Apollo he went on to perform at the National Black Theatre and again at the Apollo for a show hosted for talented kids. 

As so often happens with talented urban inner city kids his dreams were put on hold because of problems that arose beyond his control....

Now he's back doing more than just rapping. Daddy Sun over the years began teaching himself guitar while studying the Blues music genre which he began to love even more than Hip-Hop.

Daddy Sun joined  SoundCloud to share some of his soul along with members of the B.A.M (family of Emcees) in hopes to share Soulful but REAL music!
