HONEST is a Malaysian band from Keningau, Sabah. Formed in December 2012, the group consist of Husman (lead vocalist), Chris (rhythm guitarist), Clinton (lead guitarist), Jamri (bassist), and Moll (drummer), Adee (keyboardist).

FORMING HISTORY (2012)

HONEST was founded by Husman, former underground band's drummer in the late 2000. Husman stop playing in a band for a while and be in a different carrier where he met Chris and Jamri, also a former underground band player long ago. They never think of forming a band until they come to Chris's home and met Clinton, Chris's brother-in-law and former heavy-metal band player in 2010. While having fun, Chris introduces some of Husman created song, played with acoustic guitar. Husman bring the idea of forming a band and agreed by Chris, Jamri and Clinton with the name HONEST. They started practice with an acoustic guitar. Few months passed, they get on for a studio jamming practice where Husman then introduce Moll, former bass player along with Husman long ago.

FIRST LIVE PERFORMANCE

Another band form Keningau known as Buzzing Joker, released their album in March 23, 2013 in associated with OnlineFM (Bro Langau). HONEST and other bands are invited and performed on a live stage in Keningau Mall. HONEST perform two of their song Terindah and Bebas.

MENCARI ARAH (2013)

Mencari Arah was their first album to be release in 2013 under BEDROOMUSIC PRODUCTION (Adee). Adee joined the band as keyboardist and make HONEST line-up stable. The album features Clinton created song Mencari Arah ; and Husman created song ; Terindah, Bebas, Seandai Cinta Mampu, Sukar, Teman, Jalan Berbeda, Bukan Untuk Aku and Cinta Yang Hilang.
