First original composition! 

'Sayoshigure' roughly translates, from Japanese, to mean late evening rain in late Autumn/early Winter. 

Influenced by Japanese musical characteristics, I tried to capture a  'dreamy', 'pensive' feeling in the piece, as well as attempting to incorporate pauses in the rain with breaks in the music, separating the piece into 3 sections.

Going for something quite different this time. Nujabes and music of his style have been a huge influence to me, musically. Always loved listening to the fusion of genres with rap to create really distinct vibes! That being said, with the 'Beast from the East' keeping us all stuck at home in the freezing cold, I decided I wanted to give it a go - I took samples from Notorious B.I.G and 2Pac's 'Runnin', and created my own accompanying beat, influenced by that 'Nujabes-esque' style.

2nd Piano Composition - more of an intense piece this time. Influenced by music from the Nier franchise and a 'Hans Zimmer-esque' 'epic' style.

Always had a passion for music - composing in particular. I love music from all genres/styles: Solo piano; EDM; lofi hip hop (nujabes style) and everything in between! Plan to release music from as many of these styles as I can. Hopefully there'll be something for everyone :P
