Combining an undulating vocal range with muscular yet seductive rhythms – overarched by a certain Swedish rock ‘n roll ethos – DJ/producer and vocalist Adeline continues to entice international crowds at her fingertips. Played at key festivals including Get Lost MIA, The BPM Festival MX & PT, Life & Death Weekender, Tomorrowland, DGTL Festival BCN, Robot Heart and Disco Knights (Burning Man), MUTEK BCN, Brunch BCN, Sonar and Eastern Electrics LDN. Played at key clubs including Void Mykonos, Destino Ibiza, The Zoo Project, Sankeys Ibiza, Tresor, Sisyphos, Wilde Renate, Nitsa BCN, Villa Oslo, Pratersauna VIE, Berns STLHM, Dialogue LA, Monarch SF, Village Underground LDN. Radio shows (Pulse Radio/P3 Dans, Swedish Radio) featuring guests including Cassy, DJ Tennis, Ida Engberg, tINI, Mano Le Tough, Skudge, Ryan Crosson and Ellen Allien.

Permeated by her strong individual sensibility, the result is hypnotising chords and wobbly  bass lines entwining with slithering melodies, often punctuated by Adeline’s own playful  vocals. Attracting support from key players like Damian Lazarus, Jamie Jones, M.A.N.D.Y, DJ  T along with taste making dance music institution Mixmag, this accumulated to her first  release on Get Physical’s of-shoot imprint Kindisch. ‘Love Handles You’ dropped in 2012  maintaining a Top 20 position for four consecutive weeks in the Beatport Top 100 chart 
followed by raving reviews, and gigs at Eastern Electrics, Sonar Rebel Rave and Tresor to  name a few.  2013 saw the unearthing of her original release, ‘What You Got’ a 4-track EP on Los Angeles  based label Culprit, which came with a remix from New York's Thugfucker, featuring Greg  Paulus of No Regular Play on trumpet.  Following was a string of releases for German imprint Get Physical and UK based Resonance  Records. Most recently Adeline signed to Crosstown Rebels with a 4 track EP “You*re Sick”  dropping in June 2019 featuring a remix by D’Julz. 

With a strong sense of self and an ability  to lay down hypnotising chords and wobbly bass next to magic melodies, Adeline’s own  playful vocals are the icing on the cake. Now that Adeline has established herself, she continues to confound expectation and is rightfully so a respected modern talent.

DJ MIX #573 - Adeline (Barcelona, Spain)

San Francisco/Paris-based label Spring Theory is back with its fourth release. Called Sweet Bitter Love, it's a four track EP of manic sample-driven house from Keita Sano, a Japanese producer who's been on a roll lately with releases for like-minded imprints Discos Capablanca, Mister Saturday Night, and Strictly Groove Recordings.

Sweet Bitter Love kicks off with the tripped-out flair of "Once I Found a Diamond." It's an uplifiting bongo-led cut with dubby melodics that sound like the kind of thing Sleeping Bag Records would have put out in the early '80s. Jacques Renault provides a leaner peak-time version — complete with hard-hitting snares and growling bass — via his "Once I Found a Diamond (Jacques Renault Trouble Funk Remix)."

Things take a turn for the delightfully weird on the EP's namesake "Sweet Bitter Love." Starting like a straightforward house cut, it explodes into a psychedelic collage of spaghetti western guitars, tribal calls, displaced jazz fills, and other forms of cleverly sampled soundtrack exotica. The release wraps up with yet another curveball on "Bouzouk." Here Sano lays out a subwoofer-knocking NY garage house rhythm that takes a left turn with frenzied bouzouki playing charting arpeggios through a haze of echoing foreign voices.

Taken as a whole, Sweet Bitter Love is that rare idiosyncratic bomb of an EP that will keep your dancers moving and your trainspotters guessing — In other words, it's Spring Theory through and through.

Originally from Sweden this multi talented lady is a DJ/producer and vocalist as well as radio show host and was a music curator for Soundcloud. Her set has the tech house sound that can be found in some of her music productions on labels such Kindisch, Einmaleins Musik, Culprit and more. 

She really got DK dance floor moving and grooving so that all the ladies were raving out playa style.
