3. I’LL BE HONEST (feat. D Gilla, FarangDan, Jaxx & MNQ MUSIC) [DEMO]

4. DROWNING (Part 2) [DEMO] prod by. FarangDan

'Daisy Feels' - was written and composed by me in 2022. 
The songs concept refers to feelings of unconditional love and willingness to do anything to preserve the wellbeing of whoever is at the receiving end of those feelings, even if this means leaving them to grow in peace. It came about after a situation I was in where I developed feelings for a really special person in my life, and although we shared a deep connection, ultimately they did not feel the same way. My love for them is still alive to this day and probably always will be, and I learned that if you do truly love someone, you will always want them to be happy; even if they're not meant to be with you.
After discovering the chords I recorded them into garageband on my phone and layered some vocal harmonies before developing the hook, which I then recorded too. I began writing a verse and added some drums but felt as though neither were necessary for the song. Lastly I added the guitar riff and some other layers to the chords. I showed the early stages of the song to my cousin (who I was living with at the time) and she suggested I do another take of the vocals, which I agreed with. This was the final product.

Daisy Feels (keep love alive)

'REIGN' - was a concept born out of ANGER, confusion, frustration, rage even... and complete absence of a focal point to channel those feelings towards.
Simplistic at its rudimentary core and almost primal. 
I always say this is my first protest song. 
Reign is one of a few songs of mine that were not written as a body of work or part of a larger project.
I tried to keep the lyrics unspecified to any one subject so that any listener has the opportunity to insert their own meaning.
Is there a person or situation in a position of control within your life that this song could apply to?
This version of the song is played by myself on the acousitc guitar whilst also performing the vocals and doesn't feature the songs outro.
This take was recorded 12.03.2024 under a bridge in my hometown. Recorded on my iPad, the recording has no additional effects other than being sped up slightly.

‘Drowning’ - was based on a freestlye that I decided to develop into a free demo. I own no rights over the musical production of this track which was produced by DVN and this track will only be used for non-profit purposes. The demo is the product of GarageBand vocal production on my iphone while I work towards new musical resources. I'M JUST HAVING FUN.
