We are an exact replication of everything that is around us. An image of what we project to the world through the act of living, while everything we interact with becomes a reflection of ourselves. At least this is how the Buddhists think. One could agree, we are components of a self-reflective autonomous system.

In "Cyclone", Jeroen Viktor enters a journey into self-reflection embodied as an EP including three original electronic music compositions matching different sub-genres while using an ever-present acid lead synth on each track.

The cut that titles the release, "Cyclone", is an infusion of hypnotic techno sequences, house melodies trance arpeggios and synthwave basslines working as a system of sound waves rotating inwards to an area of low sonic pressure. A voyage to the world of the self, a self that sits still in the eye of life's storm.

"Atomic" envisions an epic trip to the realm of protons, electrons and neutrons through a pounding techno drum-section intertwined with heavenly melodies, female vocals, arpeggiated synth leads and dramatic breakdowns typical of a sci-fi movie.

In "Space Flight", Jeroen Viktor depicts a ride past the outer limits of planet earth to locate otherwordly ancient civilizations who may still possess the lost electro rhythms which match perfectly with melodies reminiscent of the most notable 90's trance tracks.

To seal the release, Jeroen summoned a legendary Japanese producer known for perfect chord progressions and gratifying melodies found on his original tracks and remixes. Satoshi Fumi's remix of "Cyclone" is a fusion of electro rhythms and synth arpeggios, techno bassline, house melodies and a large dose of Detroit techno chords all masterfully mixed and arranged into a massive reinterpretation.

The events in the quantum world seem interrelated in mysterious ways. They defy the separateness of space and time. Events behave as multiple aspects of a larger whole to seemingly derive their definition and meaning from that whole.

Psychologists and neuroscientists infer that the constituents of the individual Self are partially-integrated systems of "Sub-Selves". At the quantum level, the Self represents the essence of human consciousness: "Free Will", or the Quantum Self.
 
Quantum Systems develop internal relationships after interacting, and these become a part of something new, which is larger than itself. The relationship between "you" and "me", when it becomes "we", is similar to the many Sub-Selves of one's Self. Thus, after every interaction, the Quantum Self develops into a new version of itself.

The wave/particle duality of the quantum world becomes the primary mind/body relationship, in our reality, attempting to explain the mental and physical aspects of life. Undisturbing Observer explores the idea of measuring the wave/particle in its state of superposition. As opposed to the "Observer Effect", an Undisturbing Observer could register the mind/body relationship without influencing it, effectively attaining absolute truth.

Quantum Self is the newest release by Greencross, including three original tracks and a remix by Alexander Kowalski.

Greencross has been a fan of quantum physics for almost a decade, and a techno producer since 2007. In Quantum Self, the Venezuelan-born artist presents the three tracks most adjacent to his human essence, recorded last year at his studio in the Austrian woods. 

Alexander Kowalski gives Quantum Self a rare reinterpretation, where the Berlin-based producer steps into an unexplored dimension of his musical character to deliver an essential remix....
