DSK Records is thrilled to announce the launch of the new various artists series "What Happened To The Underground?", which is set to drop on July 19th, 2024. This various artists compilation features three exceptional tracks specially selected together to send a powerful message about the current state of the underground music scene.

The compilation opens with a stunning track fromEffin & Blindin, titled "Nobody". This masterpiece is driven by a powerful, well-processed vocal and a captivating melody that is sure to leave listeners in awe. Effin & Blindin have once again showcased his incredible ability to create music that resonates deeply with the audience.

Next up is Bulgarian producer Think Aloud, who makes his debut on DSK Records with his track "Spiral". This track is a meticulously crafted dance floor anthem, featuring a great bass progression and powerful synths that evolve throughout the composition. Think Aloud’s debut is a testament to his talent and a promising addition to the DSK Records family.

The compilation concludes with a stellar electro track from Italian producer and label regular Golden Virgo. His track "STRN" is a superbly powerful electro composition that combines a catchy vocal with enticing synths. Golden Virgo proves once again why he is a staple in the electro scene, delivering a track that is sure to be a favorite among fans and new listeners alike.

Production duo Poolhaus have risen through the ranks with a slew of releases on top labels such as Club Sweat, Insomniac, and Solotoko and a fruitful gig schedule, including performances all across their native New York City and beyond. Niall Augustine is set to release his debut EP, "Seeker," on Desert Hearts Black solidifying his position as a rising force in the underground dance music scene. The EP features two tracks: the title track "Seeker," a high-energy Breaks anthem, and "Haunted," a deep dive into Tech House with Augustine's signature danceable grooves and intricate sound design.

Niall Augustine's discovery of dance music and subsequent immersion into the underground electronic scenes of Detroit and Chicago ignited his love for DJing, a pursuit that has led him to perform alongside legendary artists like John Tejada and Gene Farris. In his home base of San Francisco, he currently plays at iconic venues including Public Works and Monarch, as well as the legendary grounds of Burning Man.

Inspired by artists like Kyle Watson, Holt 88, and Justin Martin, Augustine's latest venture into music production is a reflection of his diverse influences and his evolving sound.
