Ākāsagata is Avsluta’s second solo release that materialised over the past two years in the flux of coming in and out of moments of inspiration and creative flow. This time allowed for a deeper dive into the ever shifting inspirations behind Avsluta’s creative output and finding a way to sculpt new material with these elements in mind. 

She merges influences from tribal-infused ambient, percussive downtempo and the deeper, hazier shades of electronica to conjure up an imaginative hypnotising world of her own. 

Complimenting the three original tracks are two remixes by Primal Code and Saphileaum, the artists that have been a long-standing source of inspiration for Lucie and that are bringing a more energetic, dancier pace into the mix.

It is a great pleasure to finally be able to share with you this special release with sounds from four of the most wonderful creative minds of our time, a release that we have been working hard on for a long time.

Organica002 brings summer vibes cuts for the hot days of July and August incoming. 4 pieces oscillating between breaks, deep & housie sounds that give birth to the label's first vinyl release.

On the A side of the record resides 'Yarí' by Launaea, a deep breaks cut full of textures and spaciousness that transportd the listener to a dreamy and comfortable environment. a2 corresponds to 'Ataxie', produced by Harmony Rec's Alfred Czital, a fully soft dancefloor oriented piece with the right amount of depth and groove that lead us into its story, refreshing the field all the time to keep the picture simple but interesting. 

Side B contains 2 different versions of 'Ma'am' by Berlin based artist Octo Åeterna. Its original version projects an acid deep house sound fully of melancholy and groove; 100% dancefloor oriented to create an emotional moment during the set. By other hand, the 'Intimate Panorama' version lead us to a way softer and sexier scenario, influenced by 90's r&b and ambient electronica, the track flows around dreamy and emotional pads combined with psychedelic elements and groovy percussions.

It's time to reveal the first release of this year 2023! 
ACCENTVA007 - Various Artists 007 is a kind of state of the art, a mapping of the contemporary deep experimental and techno music scene. This musical work is without any doubt the most consequent and ambitious release of the label. It is a question here of showing through nearly 2h30 of music the beauty and diversity of the current musical scene, of what it has of specific, here and there, through the glances of artists from all over the world, emerging or now known, women and men. Each of them has added a stone to the edifice by marking an original sound piece with his signature. So many facets in this kaleidoscopic and multi-cultural collective work, which gives us a glimpse of new musical possibilities. This immense testimony is not only a marker of the contemporary era but also an aesthetic door to what tomorrow can be; and it is in this luminous and hopeful vision that the cover is intended as a symbol. The thousand-year-old olive tree is, through its fruit, a gift to humanity and, through its strength, a powerful testimony to its resistance to time, to its place in the landscape, through the strength of its roots and the beauty of its knots. ACCENTVA007 (Preview) - Various Artists 007

ABSIS' 'Speed Traces' is a track that instantly caught my attention with its hypnotic beat and captivating rhythm. The track is part of 'Saw' EP, which deep dives into the world of low-slung techno. 'Speed Traces' features a half-step rhythm that creates a groovy, almost trance-like atmosphere, drawing the listener in and keeping them hooked from start to finish. The percussive elements are intricate and precisely layered, resulting in a rich, dynamic sound that evolves throughout the track. The two sequences within the track flow seamlessly, each building upon the previous one and creating a sense of momentum that drives the track forward.

The track has a specific energy that's hard to describe but impossible to ignore - it's the kind of track that grabs you by the shoulders and makes you move. I can imagine this track coming on in a dark club, with the strobe lights flashing and the bassline vibrating through the floor (oh wait, that's exactly how ABSIS' set at Mostra sounded and looked like!). 
The rich and nuanced sound design shows ABSIS' expertise in producing techno, and the overall mood and atmosphere of the track make it a perfect addition to any techno set.

Saw EP is coming out on April 21 via the consistently good German record label AFFIN.
