A song written for long time friend Steve Goodman, a US College Admission Tutor. It concerns a Mrs B, who decides to go back to college. 

Steve supplied the lyrics, with the brief that he wanted a catchy and upbeat song. This was the outcome!

The Ballad Of The Hilly Hundred - Winners Remix

I'm an unsigned songwriter, working mostly solo but periodically with other musicians. This track was all recorded and mixed on an AKAIDPS16 a long while back and I'd like to update. All music and lyrics are original and were written and performed by me. Guitars, bass all straight into the unit and using DPS16s onboard effects (with exception of lead guitar at end where I went through an old Roland GP16). Vocals recorded on an inexpensive mic whose brand I can't recall.  This was my first recording on the DPS16 built up in layers. I wanted to achieve a great sounding track. A friend ran it through Wavelab to increase the overall volume etc, otherwise its pretty raw and untreated.

A co-written track with my long time collaborator Ed Loades. This song had a long gestation - years - but (unfortunately) Ed's lyrics seem as pertinent as ever.

Parkrun

ADHMusic is the home to Andrew Higgins. There seem to be a few ADH's about, but this one is an old style independent songwriter, musician and producer. I write original songs, I record and mix them, and then I listen to them. 

After a lot of self-indulgent years listening in the car or on the train, I've started to put the content out via streaming platforms such as Spotify and iTunes.  Anyway, the material on my Soundcloud profile is VERY eclectic, some of it written to commission, or for commercial purposes, some of it purely for my own pleasure.
