Moral Support - Living With Passion

UK-based Nang presents Disco legend Rayko latest album, due for release on the 31st of March 2014 on vinyl and digitally. 

Nang has been releasing quality Disco since its inception, dropping tracks from the likes of Martin Brodin, Tensnake, Daniele Baldelli, Brioski, Toby Tobias and with an incredible list of remix artists such as Luke Solomon, Andrew Weatherall and Lindstrom amongst other. This spring they are delivering Disco visionary Rayko's latest album Rebirth which follows Rayko's latest single, Rusos Theme on the Uk-based imprint. 

The LP comprises 10 forward thinking disco tracks and it opens with Balearic Intro, which is a slow tempo moody disco tune, guided by an almost talking guitar solo. The second track The Cave is clearly influenced by 80s synth rock while Time And Space is more a deep club focused tune. The fourth cut Nightlogy is a perfect example of how Rayko can revitalise dated sounds and give them new shine, adding on top of the tune a soulful vocal. This last cut is on par with Rusos Theme, a more pop oriented track driven by the hypnotic male voice that repeats "I'm gonna make you love me.", quite a clear mission statement!

The LPs title track merges acid synth lines with a relentless groove and its a strong dancefloor focused track. He Came From The Space is an uplifting funky tune, while Dreamer is a more groovy synth driven tune with a cheeky vibe to it. The last 2 tracks are the perfect ending for the album: Warhammer is a slow moody cut while the closing tune Goodbye Baby is a proper club track, in which a funky slapped bass line is combined with guitar riffs and a long ethereal pad, it rounds off the release perfectly and feels like the end of the show.

Spain's Rayko latest LP Rebirth is due for release on the 12th of May: keep your eyes out all Disco heads.

Chris Coco - Arpeggio (Leo Mas & Fabrice - Smiley People Remix)

Bufi is back with ‘México 70’ a new album, a couple of years after his sophomore LP on Discotexas ‘Revelación’.

With a broader, more eclectic palette of sounds and rhythms, this time the music gets infected with cowbells and bongoes, prehispanic samples, funky guitars, "guapachoso" basses and ethereal vocals. From the pseudo cumbia of "Hillalum (Amazónica)" to the suicidesque jam of "Impresionistas", this addictive album will induce you to have a lot of fun from the beginning till the end.

The artwork is a design by portuguese artist Braulio Amado, responsible for the covers of Bufi's previous two singles extracted from this same LP, "Brujerías" and "Hillalum (Amazónica)", released late 2018.

A newcomer to the studio but no stranger to playing sweet music in all the sweet spots of Manchester.

Muddy Feet is the alias of Kirby Halliday who has been a firm supporter of us at Sprechen as well as being a close friend too, so we're super stoked to be the label to deliver her debut music release 'The Harmonising E.P.' which perfectly shows of the kind of diversity that are always present in her sets 

Nothing I Need leads the way and is a hazy head nodding bit of sunshine house music brilliance that sums up late night dusk time style socialising, is it a banger? is it balearic??? Is it both of those whilst also being pretty darn unique? We think the latter.

Take Flight is a psychedelic trip through beats that are broken (but not broken beat!) with hypnotic synth & pads swirling in & out all over the place.like the calmer sibling of The Chems' 'Private Psychedelic Reel' with a little bit of Bicep in there for added oomph. Trippy & Blissful end of the night/last tune vibes ahoy!

Learning keeps with the uplifting vibe of its predecessors  but drives a bit more in the bottom end for added wallop. Saucy style synth stabs & arps with a few drops here & there make this (dare we say it) slightly trancey but in the best of ways.another end of nighter for sure.

Our boy Massey jumps on board and remixes Nothing I Need where he really cranks up the balearic-o-meter and takes the party away from the Adriatic to decamp on a remote desert island! No peak time club banger here, this is a straight up sunbathing/sunset watching makeover with lush stabs galore & a dreamy melody line to boot!
