We welcomed Gervonn Romney-Rice to the Podcast to discuss her years of political involvement in her local community of Teaneck, NJ. Gervonn is currently in her 5th year as a Council Woman for the Teaneck Town Council and describes her family's arrival in the area and how public service was something she grew up being exposed to, but also exposed her own children to as well. We discuss the importance of Black and Brown folks voting and getting involved in their community to advocate for themselves and their children.
