North Carolinian producer, Probably Will, is back after the success of his first Danse Direkt release earlier this year. His newest offering is an upbeat but emotional affair that is not to be missed. "An End" is slow burning and passionate. A heartfelt sample and sparse piano lead are tastefully employed in this constantly building crescendo. "In Some Other Place" brings a bit more color and funk to the mix. A propulsive bass line and pleasantly syncopated drums ensure that the dance floor will be packed every time this one drops. But even through the funk and flair, Probably Will doesn't shy away from making you feel something. Things feel a bit more exotic with the stand out track, "Kawengna (Place Of The Hill)" which pairs bright chord stabs with a rolling, thunderous bass line and delicate, swirling arpeggios. "Mature" is one of the more subdued of the bunch. Things are a bit dustier and the edges are a bit smoother in this realm. Still, Probably Will's ability to create and sustain a groove is undeniable here. "WYD" is a cool, dark alley illuminated by neon signs reflected in the puddles left after an unexpected thunder storm.
