Sebelum mengenal musik Celtic punk, saya adalah penggemar setia pop punk. Perkenalan saya dengan musik ini terjadi pada akhir tahun 2016. Singkat cerita saat itu, seorang teman memutar lagu yang terdengar berbeda dari musik punk pada umumnya. Nada-nadanya terasa lebih energik, unik, dan ada sentuhan tradisional yang begitu khas. Saya bertanya, "Apa ini?" dan teman saya menjawab, "Ini aliran Celtic punk." Sejak saat itu, saya langsung tertarik.

Ada sesuatu yang istimewa dalam Celtic punk. Energinya mampu membangkitkan semangat saya untuk menjalani hari-hari dengan lebih antusias. Saya pun penasaran dengan band yang baru saja saya dengar. Teman saya menyebut, “Ini The Cloves and The Tobacco.” Nama yang unik dan langsung membuat saya ingin tahu lebih banyak. Mulailah saya menelusuri karya mereka.

Lagu-lagu seperti The Indian Ocean, Pure and Innocent, dan masih banyak lagi, menjadi pengiring hari-hari saya. Musik mereka menggabungkan nuansa tradisional dan modern dengan cara yang begitu memikat. Tak hanya sekadar hiburan, lagu-lagu ini memberikan motivasi dan semangat dalam menjalani kehidupan.

Sejak saat itu, The Cloves and The Tobacco menjadi salah satu band favorit saya. Musik mereka bukan hanya soal nada, tetapi juga cerita dan energi yang mengalir di setiap lagu. Saya berharap mereka terus berkarya dan menginspirasi banyak orang, sebagaimana mereka telah memberikan inspirasi bagi saya.
