Adis Is OK - Bánkitó Festival 22'

This mighty freeform force that our guests try their best to mould in danceable forms for our enjoyment can be unpredictable in many ways, but especially in how it resonates within as well as without us. Granted that it can be complex to sculpt our sonic environments, it certainly requires an extra amount of will and wisdom to make them capable of stimulating motion and communicating emotion, especially in the artform that involves weaving narratives through prerecorded music. Nevertheless, as it must have become clear at this point, this series's main reason to exist is to preserve and promote the talent excelling at it, so each episode brings a novel approach, a new perspective, a fresh take on the manipulation of sounds for the stimulation of moods from all corners of the planet. This time around we are joined by Budapestian globetrotter Adis is OK, a dedicated expert on the aural arts we celebrate here and a renowned selector on the other side of Greenwich, who brings a unique outlook to our collection of musical journeys with an energetic mix based simply on precise rhythmic concatenations and powerful harmonic transitions. The result is an exciting voyage that can take us along to all sorts of joyful places, on both sides of the globe and on both dimensions of our dancefloor experiences.
