She's been on our radar for almost a year now, determined to stay anonymous in this world, she's got an amazing project running on soundcloud called 'the house witchtapes' where she has over 10 thousand true listeners.

In these mixtapes she features guestmixes from witches and magicians all over the globe with angelic vocals, hypnotizing soundscapes and magical downtempo beats which will take you on a deep and relaxing journey.

For this guestmix, which she carefully prepared over the last months, she carved an emotional and relaxing experimental story with an intimate touch.

The multi-talented artist Hekske grew up on a little farm in a forgotten hamlet in the North of Belgium at spitting distance from the Dutch border.  At age 18, she left the farm and went to study in Leuven, after which she lived in South-Asia for several years before returning to Belgium and settling down in a small village near the sleepy town of Ninove in East-Flanders, where she quietly spends lots of time in her garden in the company of her rabbit.

After discovering electronic music during the summer of 2016, she decided to make a little fun mix with Audacity in January 2017 and casually posted it on Soundcloud, thinking it would get no more than 20 plays.  The tape got way more success than expected and was a few months later renamed Witchtape #1, at the moment when Hekske converted her Soundcloud page into a fairy tale-like channel with the name ‘The House Witchtapes’.  Since then, she has invited close to 100 guest witches and wizards into her unique mystic magic world, while writing a witchy little fairy-tale for each episode. 

And in parallel, Hekske rapidly developed her musical and storytelling skills and in the course of the last 4 years she has made podcasts for over 20 top-tier channels like Deep Stories,  Baikal Nomads, Sunset Grooves and Elektro Uwe. But strangely she has so far never made a tape for a Belgian channel.  So buckle up and brace yourself for the long overdue Belgian debut of the ‘Bibi Blocksberg of the downtempo scene’

It's been a while since we featured another female DJ/producer and today we're presenting an exclusive and intense guestmix straight from the sunny beaches of Mexico!

This Copenhagend based upcoming talent caught our eye a few months back with one of her 'Wan Deep' sessions, which are powered by Techart, https://soundcloud.com/droptwinsofficial and https://soundcloud.com/wanderlustrec . We quickly felt that she's got the same genuine and positive mindset, so it was only a matter of time that she'd become our next invite.

She had her breakthrough quickly after ADE last year, where her carrier took an even bigger jump. She already made an endless amount of guestmixes for radios and podcasts all over the world. Besides that she's dj´ed all over Europe at big festivals, clubs and events and having a DJ residency in Berlin at Insomnia Night Club and H13. 

For now, she's living, dj´ing and producing in Mexico, playing on a weekly basis in Tulum and Cancun area for Deep Paradise Cancun events and many more.

The project was created during the artists master studies at the University of Applied Science in Salzburg/Austria. Simon’s intention was to combine the various disciplines of Multimedia Art and to connect artists of different forms.
⁠
Coming from the Austrian alps, the producer isn’t a newcomer in the electronic music scene. Since 2013 he toured as Loxias around Europe and played at multiple Psytrance festivals and parties around Europe, releasing alongside the biggest names of the genre.
⁠
The opening up of his artistic identity created a new horizon for Surface Division. The young Austrian musician and DJ dived into a new genre: A surface divided, unchanged from the inside, inspired by new influences.

Deep basses, wide spherical pads and playful melodic synths, combined with tight bass drums, describes the dreamy aesthetics of Surface Division. Linking electronic sounds and audio reactive visuals, qualifies the concept as a multisensory experience.

Caught our eye on spotify with his trak 'Everyone is moving' under his former name DFRNT, we got in contact with this Scottish-born deep and dub producer.
⁠
His genre shifts and sits stylistically between dub,
drum & bass, ambient, dub-techno, downtempo, post dubstep, deep techno and bass music.

After 6 years, over 25 releases and stacks of remixes under his DFRNT alias, Alex Cowles decided to switch things up in 2013 and start fresh as Stillhead.
⁠
Since then he has released 4 albums, 5 EPs, a short film soundtrack and a number of singles.
In addition to a multitude of his releases, Alex has completed remixes for a number of artists including Nick Warren, Machinedrum, Rumpistol, Youth and Troy Gunner. 

Alex has written the score for a short film, contributed tracks to various compilations (Nick Warren’s Balance Series, Anjunadeep’s Chillout, Hospital Records/Med School’s New Blood series, Pablo Bolivar’s Avant Roots and the groundbreaking Traum Schallplatten
label) and performed live as Stillhead in a number of places in Europe and the USA including Vermont, UK, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Portugal and even Greenland.

Stillhead continues to produce music, perform and DJ, host podcasts and mixes as well as release various projects on his Brightest Dark Place and Cut record labels.

Stable Heads is based in Istanbul/Hamburg, his style varies from Techno 2 House containing melodic vibes and powerful basslines.

Being a part of the music scene for quite some time, stable heads gained a great deal of knowledge of Electronic Music. His journey started with concerts, especially in Turkey and Germany. Stable Heads began to explore the biggest festivals and parties all over the world. Starting from the warm-up sets in local Clubs in Antalya-Istanbul-Izmir-Ankara...

He's a musician who moves among roles, genres, and mediums, trying to imagine a world of sound that has never been heard before but has always existed. He is the experienced recipient of the underground culture, and he often works in collaboration with others as a producer, writer, remixer, and performer.

He also played a big role in the preparation of various festival scenes, gathering a lot of inspiration, working with artists, live acts and many more. He found his own way and continues to perform lines in silence, huge vibes that turn into stable emotions, including house and techno culture.

As we're creeping towards the end of the year, I decided to highlight a new and exciting melodic techno concept;

I came in contact with one of the founders a while ago through the DHA academy (https://soundcloud.com/deep-house-amsterdam) and I decided to highlight this new and inspiring melodic techno concept.
⁠
FDTD is a first production from the newly formed non-profit organization called Geestdrift, which was created by 4 founders (Julie, Lothar, Matthias and Maxime)
⁠
They mainly focus on melodic techno & progressive house.
The goal is to start giving their genre of music, and young talented artists, a stage to perform. They had a first (private) event in October which sold out after a week and a half. And so far, 2 sold out editions of FDTD were organized, with Beswerda as headliner for the second edition . The third edition will take place on March 18th at Amigo Amigo in Ghent, with again an international headliner who already released on Oddity, Atlant and Eklectisch.

The intention is to organize club nights in the future, do their own parties & next summer an open air at a unique location.
The focus is and always will be quality. They're always going to try to work with people who also produce their own music. On their first event they invited Bröder & Kimman as external DJs, just to give an example.

To highlight the new concept even more, one of their residents (https://soundcloud.com/dvsk_music), who has more than 20 years of experience, made an enchanting guestmix. An excellent mix of relaxing melodic techno, an electro twist and a very nicely balanced dose of danceable melancholic sounds.

E:CHOES is the project between the DJ/producer duo Gui Sawaya and Jhonatan Jacobs.
Both Brazilian and living in Miami, the duo grew passionate for the dark, melodic and hypnotic Techno.

Scattering for many years between different underground music genres, this frequency collided with the techno soundscape in 2016, creating an outburst of energy. Equipped with a rumbling, driving and unseen dedication to his passion, his journey began..

In 2018 he took the Belgian MUSICASA producer's education as a first step to pursuing his dream. After releasing EP’s and remixes on labels such as SMR underground, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft, Papaya music,..He felt the melodic music genre wasn’t the perfect reflection of what really inspired and drove him.

In 2022 he had a change of heart as he started focusing more on underground hypnotic techno and ambient music, reaching for that inner spirit and dynamic balance.

Host of the podcast ‘Adjust (BE) Invites’, he invited numerous DJ’s and Producers to make a signature guest mix, where the DJ/producer is the key element. For over 130 episodes spreading over 2 years and reaching new listeners each month, the fanbase and mutual respect between colleagues kept growing day by day.

In 2023 he started a new and hypnotic/deep-techno-exclusive podcast called ‘Anhera’, which translates to ‘Darkness’ in sanskrit. With every full moon or solar eclipse, a talented and highly respected DJ/producer creates a unique story.

Last week we had our last Full Moon in Cancer, also called the 'cold Moon', which brings a powerful emotional energy. This water sign is in fact known for its deep feelings and strong intuition. Therefore, during this full moon, you may notice that you are more emotional than usual.

This Full Moon is in opposite of the Sun in Capricorn. This is an interesting dynamic because where Cancer is about emotion and intuition, Capricorn is about structure and discipline. This creates quite an inner struggle, where you feel like you are being pulled back and forth between two worlds....

On the one hand, you feel the need to let your emotions run wild and focus on your personal life. On the other hand, the energy of Capricorn calls you to focus on your ambitions and responsibilities. Scattering for many years between different underground music genres, this frequency collided with  Techno
soundscape in 2016, creating an outburst of energy.
Equipped with a rumbling, driving and unseen dedication to his passion, his journey began..
In 2018 he took the Belgian MUSICASA producer's education as a first step to pursuing his dream.
After releasing EP’s and remixes on labels such as SMR underground, Melodia Records, Tanzgemeinschaft,
Papaya music,.. As through the process of producing, he felt the melodic music genre wasn’t the perfect
reflection of what really inspired and drove him.
In 2022 he had a change of heart as he started focusing more on underground hypnotic techno and ambient
music, reaching for that inner spirit and dynamic balance.
Host of the podcast ‘Adjust (BE) Invites’, he invited numerous DJ’s and Producers to make a signature guest mix,
where the DJ/producer is the key element.
For over 130 episodes spreading over 2 years and reaching new listeners each month, the fanbase and mutual
respect between colleagues kept growing day by day.
In 2023 he started a new and hypnotic/deep-techno-exclusive podcast called ‘Anhera’, which translates to
‘Darkness’ in sanskrit. With every full moon or solar eclipse, a talented and highly respected DJ/producer creates
a unique story.
His style of playing and producing can be described as a perfectly carved out balance between light and
darkness, cheerful and melancholic, where he guides you through the various realms of underground techno
music, where you’ll find yourself in the most disturbing, hypnotizing and captivating journeys where there’s no
time, no space, but only the low end frequencies, the screeching synths, the confusing percussive elements
which are surrounded by the most beautiful and enchanting ambient soundscapes.
