Hypside, Colossi Rah, and DKING have been on our radar for a long time. Individually, they've put out some of the most forward thinking dance music in recent memory, and together they've created some masterfully-crafted collaborations. Hypside's track 'The Birdy' makes good use of an effective, percussive bassline and trippy vocals that describe the process Hypside relies upon for inspiration. (On 2nd thought It may be an animal that brings him the inspiration.) Colossi Rah and DKING's collaborations with Hypside make us incredibly excited to be able to someday soon play these records out of doors on a large sound system. Five years ago a couple of lonely hearts by the names of Late Eighties, IceCreams, and n808 were offered a show for their friends' MNML FUN's monthly at Underground SF on Haight street. They were all out of town in Berlin or something so we said what the hell might as well throw a party and see what happens. Kirin Rider headlined (this was before she decided to do makeup and way before her work on Euphoria) and the party did pretty good so we decided we might as well not scrap all this branding work we did. Admit One. Like a ticket. Funny name, let’s go with it. We couldn’t for the life of us get signed anywhere else so we decided one night we might as well start a record label. How hard can it be? Turns out it’s a lot of work and someone’s gotta do it! It’s been just about five years, give or take and we think we can finally answer the question: “What is Admit One’s SOUND???” and the answer is I have no idea. But I still play records we put out 5 years ago. That’s the hope for this release, we hope you can enjoy these tracks years down the line. Obviously we hope you can enjoy them right this second too. There’s a lil something for everyone, especially if you’re looking to scratch an itch that only an absolutely nasty record can scratch. There’s some fresh faces and there’s some very first releases here too. We expect to see great things from everyone here.

Soulful and club ready, RN ISMO debuts on Admit One with 'All I Can Be'. The namesake track is one we would call a '9er', perfect for the magical hours of 9pm and 9am. The other tracks on the EP are no slouchers, with 'Wonder' delivering a raw and heavy-hitting bassline all throughout; peppered with incredibly effective percussive elements and vocals. 'Addicted' is a bouncy one, stripped back to the essence of what makes tracks like this great. With the Riffa remix of 'All I Can Be' simplicity is eschewed for a driving powerhouse of a track, making expert use of the elements from the original and giving a fresh coat of paint to an already killer track.

Gettoblaster has had nothing short of an exceptional year thus far. Following multiple chart toppers and a touring schedule that would leave many other artists down for the count, this Chicago duo is going stronger than ever.
