EA Review: Clearlight - The Ununderstandable EP [FAV014]

Take the EP’s first track. The title says it all: “Stomp Dub” is an absolute stomper. Initially, the dutiful subfrequent beat is all-consuming. It channels one of dubstep’s most familiar and infectious tenets with bruising punch. But between the marching bassline, and the distorted fog of sirens and wails that engulf it, is some sly manipulation that makes for a beatmatching experience as interesting as the track itself.
