Staying in ‘The America’s’ for our next release, we head south, back to Buenos Aires, Argentina the South American nerve centre and heartbeat of Progressive House. 

There we are thrilled to welcome this next pair of artists to the onedotsixtwo family, Maximo Gambini & Q.A.T aka Leandro Maldonado.  These two very bright rising stars of the global progressive scene have been on fire of late with a string of remixes that have been getting regular plays on Hernan Cattaneo’s Resident show as well as his club and festival shows worldwide. This is their first original EP as a duo with both artists having had great success on labels such a Sound Avenue and One of a Kind. 

The lead track ‘Stochastic Process’ is a beautifully crafted melodic journey of sound that builds into a melancholic breakdown before the large drop, enough to make any dancefloor swing sideways. ‘One Sided Thoughts’ takes the path of a more hypnotic journey that weaves a softy gated vocal and smooth pads and effects with a whirring baseline that kicks like mule. 

On remix duties we welcome back long-time label afficionado Weird Sounding Dude who has applied his meticulous sound design to ‘Stochastic Process’ keeping true to the original whilst adding his signature sound, and Turkish artist Hakan Onuzur, who after a short musical hiatus is back in the studio, has a delivered an amazing interpretation of ‘One-Sided Thoughts’ showcasing to everyone, that he’s an artist who should be on your radar.

The 66th edition of Juicebox Radio welcomes Jesuán Mortada, better known as Jesuan M. Born in the town of Viedma (Rio Negro) in Argentina, Jesuan's interest in electronic music began during his initial teenage years. He was specifically drawn to the progressive sound with his main influences being Guy J and Hernan Cattaneo, and eventually entered the world of DJing and Production at 18. In a short span of time, Jesuan has earned releases on Balkan Connection, 3rd Avenue, Droid9 and more, along with an upcoming release on our imprint's new "Fables" and to celebrate it, we're stoked to have him on board for an exclusive one hour set. Jamie Stevens and Zankee Gulati collaborate on the impressive 'The Rip' EP with remix support coming from Argentina under the sign of Paul Deep. 

Jamie needs little introduction, a stalwart of the Aussie prog scene since the '90s and prominent member of Infusion, his golden touch has affected 100s of records over the years culminating in a whos who of releases on seminal labels such as Bedrock, Balance Music and Coldharbour Recordings. 

Zankee Gulati broke on to the scene in 2011 and is making a real name for himself in Sydney's thriving clubland. A DJ and promoter primarily, his talents are now branching out to production. With releases on The Soundgarden, Balance Music and more, his distinctive sound is being to reach an international audience. 

Opening with 'The Rip' a tough mid set groove wastes no time reaching an early crescendo, where vocal chops and a wobbly synth line light up the floor. 'Utveckla' keeps up the pace with a low slung vibe with warm melodic flourishes perfect for the summer months. 

On remix duties, Paul Deep turns in two contrasting reimaginations. Firstly, the 'Basement Remix' takes us in a late night direction. Focusing on a hypnotic groove, the melodics act as layers of percussion all pointing towards a heads down stompathon. The 'Terrace Remix' sees Pauls lighter side; bouncy and joyous.
