Romain Nouhi who goes under the alias, Sunrom, releases his new EP, Nocturnal, June 18th on the Ano Ano label.

An artist who is as discreet as he is talented, Sunrom is a multi-instrumentalist night owl. With Nocturnal, the French producer takes us on an enchanting journey blending the sounds of electronica, balearic, melodic house, and ambient. The EP consists of 7 tracks including 2 remixes signed by the highly regarded Tour Maubourg and Aldebaran with an illustrated cover by Art Director, Louis Mallart, mirroring its beauty and complexity.

Sunrom - Rainmaker

Artiste aussi discret que talentueux, Sunrom est un noctambule multi-instrumentiste. Avec Nocturnal, le producteur français nous emmène dans un voyage enchanteur mélangeant les sons de l'electronica, des baléares, de la house mélodique et de l'ambient. L'EP se compose de 7 titres dont 2 remix signés par les très réputés Tour Maubourg et Aldebaran avec une couverture illustrée par le directeur artistique Louis Mallart, reflétant sa beauté et sa complexité.

Le morceau d'ouverture, "Not Enough" nous immerge avec ses beats multicouches et ciselés portés par des voix soul old-school. Le morceau parfait pour une ouverture ou une fermeture - on vous laisse décider ;).

Viennent ensuite « You Don't Know » et « The Music Was Love » que Tour Maubourg et Aldebaran recréent à la fin de l'opus. Du côté de la Tour Maubourg on entre dans une version House alors qu'Aldebaran s'attaque à une interprétation abstraite avec des synthés arrondis.

L'EP ne serait pas complet sans mentionner « Hold On » et « Rainmaker », deux morceaux qui nous donnent la chair de poule. La complexité de leurs rythmes laisse nos oreilles ravies dès l'écoute.

Sans aucun doute, Sunrom a livré l'un des plus grands EP de l'année. Certainement un à syntoniser. Profitez-en!
